Winderlich played NAB. It's been sporadic hamstring woes since then, so they weren't going to put him on the LTI in case it eased. It hasn't, but them's the breaks. I don't think you'd ever put someone on the LTI for a hammy, would you? Unless it was an astronomical tear.

Licha is due back with Bendigo either this week or next...

What is the news on Davis, O'Brien, Pears and McVeigh?? Have been injured but never on the clubs official list...

Mark McVeigh Knee 1 week
  • Mark sustained a knee injury and is in the final stages of completing his recovery regime. He is likely to make a return in the next week.
Angus Monfries Hamstring Unavailable
  • Angus sustained a hamstring tear during Essendon's victory over Fremantle. He is likely to be sidelined for the next two weeks and will be closely monitored by the medical staff.
David Zaharakis Quad Unavailable
  • David injured his quad at training and is undergoing rehabilitation. He is likely to return in the next two to three weeks but will be closely monitored by the medical department.
Brent Prismall Hamstring Unavailable
  • Brent is progressing well after surgery on his ruptured anterior cruciate ligament but is suffering from hamstring tightness. He has been placed on the club's long-term injury list.

In more good news for the Bombers veteran Mark McVeigh is just a week away from getting back out on the field.

“It has been a longer rehab period for Mark, he will miss this week but be available for the week after,” Hamilton said. “He has had his injury problems but they are really trying to build up his fitness base again to make sure that when he does come back he is ready to play and perform.”

So add on 2-3 weeks to Monfries and Zaka and we've got an idea.

Plus Davis, who seemingly no longer exists.

I tweeted Davis on the 23/6. He said he was a couple of weeks away so I reckon if he is not back this week, then probably the week after...

I know it has been done to death but it is so annoying that the club are not more transparent on the injury front.

Davis 1-2 weeks
McVeigh 1 week
Monfries 2 weeks
Zaka 2-3 weeks
Pris?
Licka back this week
Pears back this week? Is he injured?
Long?
Hunter?

I think that covers all players...?

You would assume that Monfries, Zaka and Licka are missing from out best 22. Obviously question mark on Licka playing senior footy this year.

Not that I would consider him a chance, but is Steinberg injured?

Recovering from some sort of foot decapitation.

I assume that's the ailment because the club gives us nothing.
