Yeah just stop McGovern o_O

Hurn and Schofield haven't locked down a single player all year.
Butler, Shep and Wellingham have all been terrible all year.
Ellis and Nelson can't get a game, don't have to worry about them.:drunk:

Still have Yeo and Rosa that can play back.

Maybe they could all do a master coach Roo's and put Daws on The Gov.:D
Worked so well for Melbourne. They kicked 9 goals after kicking 18 against the Cats the game before.

I would have thought stopping Shepp constantly being the third man up in contests in our defensive 50 was as important as stopping Gov.

Shhh let them keep thinking Gov is the key and let Shep and Sharrod continue to do what they are doing ;)

Hi. What criteria makes McGovern ineligible for the rising star?
Cheers.
Games played prior to this year (over 10) and age.

Pretty much every piece of criteria required goes against him.

You have to be under 21 before the first game of round 1.

That and 10 or less games

Hawthorn are extremely effective at the short hit up kick going i50

They don't often bomb long to a 1-1 or pack

Our defence has been scrambling this year and you often see someone run off their man to cover for a teammate. However when the kick is short and precise - you don't have time. I'd be surprised if we get an extra number at many of the marking contests this weekend.

He isnt. The bump killed Keyser outright, and thats his ghost come to tell us about this vital piece of information before he can "move on".

One of his poorest games of the season on the weekend. That's not a slight as he's set the bar quite high for himself. Still very serviceable.

Clearly saving himself for a massive one this Saturday!

Got into the right positions like he normally does, but was dropping marks and his kicking were all loopy up-and-under Selwood style. Confidence seemed shot (as did Darling's).

Hoping both can focus this week.

Far from dominant,
But he was timely with some of the contests be attacked.
Obviously teams are heavily planning for him these days so between the injury, the attention and being so young still,
He's done well to hold up

I think he has performed well with the odds stacked against him in the finals. Would be great for him to clunk a few more marks but he looks real sore.
