Brown will soon be available and McGovern should be sent forward. I expect the ball will be stayed at the forward half more in the second half of the season.

And who goes out? If anything has become obvious it's that McGovern is best used down back a majority of the time.

I know a fair few people think he's lazy, but one thing that i've noticed from being at the game is that after EVERY game, he goes to the exact same spot on the boundary to give out the football and it's always right where the team walks back into the change room. Most other players mix it up abit but he always slowly plods over to the same spot every home game.

Probably has a deal with some kid where he swaps it for a pie every time.

I saw him play at 15 or 16 in Albany ...I was in the bar with a few mates watching

I said that bloke will play AFL ....PEOPLE LAUGHED, "who that lard arse"

...I could see then how well he read the game and his skills were good ...he was a lump of a lad ...lol still is

He will never be a chiseled cut muscle but the bloke can play. Clean hands and great kick for a defender

Nice family also and great to see his brother doing well ......would love If we could get a trade for Mitch ..

He's not lazy ......just his build

Yes don't think he will ever have the body of a Beau Waters, but who cares as long as he continues to read rhe game the way he does. Love watching him play.

Beau Waters had a body chiseled out of stone, spent most of his time injured and missed games.

McGovern has more cushion for the pushin' (an inbuilt air bag system if you will), and is able to overcome injuries to barely miss a game.

Being fit is over rated :p

Needs to be more like Tom Swift who kicked the ball in the the second tier instead of giving it to kids at the fence.
