I'm just saying, fight all you like, you're fighting a losing battle. :p

What's that?

Or you could try understand that some things mean more to other people instead of coming off as a self-centred arrogant jerk.
Woah, sorry man. I didn't mean to disrespect AA selection.

I'm sure it's a special day that you all hold dear. I mean, why wouldn't the announcement of Luke Darcy's preferred HBF be eagerly anticipated and treated with absolute solemn reverence?

Actually I don't care one iota for the AA awards but blatantly disrespecting people's opinions and calling them "bullshit" and "dumbarses" is a pretty pathetic way to portray yourself and means your opinions will carry no weight as far as others are concerned on this board.

But then according to you, other people's opinions are pretty much bullshit so I doubt you'll care.

What is this bizarre expectation that all opinions should be 'respected'?

I might respect a doctor's medical opinion. I might respect a physicist's scientific opinion.

I don't, as a blanket rule, 'respect' everything someone pulls out of their arse just because they call it an 'opinion'. Why should I? Why should anyone?

But then according to you, other people's opinions are pretty much bullshit
That's undoubtedly true in some cases.

Respect the fact that AA selection means something to some people, it's not as stupid as You may think. Where did I say all opinions need to be respected? I just said 'blatantly disrespecting' people's opinions like you do is pretty pathetic.

Have a great night. :)

Why? What does that even mean?

Maybe you should 'respect' the fact I think it's bullshit.

I have no objection to you stating that you think it's bullshit, I object to you calling people dumb for having an interest in the AA team, hence myself stating that you come across as a 'self-centred arrogant jerk'.

Are you Gunnar LongShanks by any chance?
