That blonde preteen looking kid who played on the weekend, Thomas? He’ll do for the mere fact he looked like a Make a Wish kid having his day on field with his favourite team.

If he isn’t selected I’ll go McLovin as well.

Toby Greene to all of a sudden turn into um Toby Greene

Connor Idun for me. To look like the the best defender in the league and repel most of North's kicks inside 50, be that intercept defender. Will also sneak forward and kick 2.

Disappointed that Nate has approved this one. I wrote pieces for two GWS finals last year and he was absolutely sublime in both. Has become a very good player

With all due respect I was basing it off 2 previous games. I'll have to look further at his recent games since ours v him.

Perfectly understandable, mate. He's still a niche player and obviously some leeway with who's considered a shitmen is sensible. I just have a ton of respect for GWS and the list they've managed to build

Hard not to build a list that good with the concessions they started with

I agree and I've read every post so far, even if I haven't reacted or responded.

What I've said in the past is that where teams have 2 genuine spuds or similar, more leeway is allowed with regards to spud nominations.

I've given examples of WB, Coll, Brisbane (multiple times) and probably 2 other sides - where leeway is adjusted, otherwise games versus those teams would've resulted in a bye (no noms allowed).

I know there was a suggestion at least once per year that certain teams are not allowed noms, but with the way scoring happens on The Kerridge ladder, that would result in less "theatre" where say a tazaa, Hoju or whomever else is in 2nd place gaining leadership and or shitting the bed.

I might have missed the email, but just reading the last page or two seems to indicate that this tipping contest has some kind of rules.

I'm presuming that it's the job of Nate's secretary (Hojuman) to send the rules out. Is that going to happen?
