It's a little pointless doing a ladder for next year already, but i guess you have to fill in time somehow.

I notice alot have freo around 12th which surprises me, considering we now have one of the best mid-fields in the comp and of course 12 games in the west. I somehow doubt we will only win 8 home games and none away. If i was to do a ladder it would look something like:

1.Port
2.Saints
3.Brisbane
4.Melbourne
5.Fremantle
6.West Coast
7.Sydney
8.Roos

9. Essendon
10. Pies
11. Carlton

12-16..... i just dont know who to put in what order. No team stands out for me to win the spoon.

You should have been 5th or better in 2004. It is Fremantle's frustrating ability to soak up skilled players from other teams without on-field success that has many rate the Dockers lower.
I don't think many would be upset if you prove us wrong. Your club has had the hardest start of any of the 16 clubs in the AFL and you deserve some success.
Re 12 games in the west, two would be against West Coast wouldn't they? On past performances that is not an advantage. Plus in 2004 at least you seemed better away than at home.

After the Wizard Cup comp i will have a serious ping at it, but as it stands now here is my current thoughts on the topic:

1. St Kilda
2. West Coast
3. Fremantle
4. Brisbane
5. Port Adelaide
6. Geelong
7. Kangaroos
8. Essendon
--------------------------
9. Western Bulldogs
10. Sydney
11. Carlton
12. Melbourne
13. Richmond
14. Hawthorn
15. Adelaide
16. Collingwood

Did you deliberately leave out Geelong? ...do you strongly feel that they are in the 12-16 group?

I would have picked a similar ladder however I would have had the Cats and maybe West Coast challenging for a top four position.

1. Cats
2. Power
3. Swans
4. Saints
5. Eagles
6. Lions
