You get the code by going to your Insiders page and redeeming (the code is free, but you must be an Insiders member). Then apply that code at the checkout.
I just bought the Eiffel Tower for $799 from Bricksmegastore. I don't need anything else.

The Certified Stores are separate from Lego in Australia and owned by an independent company. They will at times have different offers, and annoyingly they have a different (though very similar) VIP program, so you cannot earn/use points interchangeably between them.
Eiffel Tower (and Titanic) is $200 off at the Stores this weekend. You will need to buy online or in person direct from them using your Store VIP membership (free to join and you can do this in store if you're not already registered).
They sometimes have different rules about earning points on discounted sets so check to see if you still get your Store VIP points if you do purcahse.
EDIT : Missed it by ..that.. much. Enjoy your build, and let us know what you think. I don't think any of those mega sets will fall within reach of my budget (I love the smaller sets too much and am not disciplined enough to save up

Yeah I buy from both depending on what I want.

One of the discounts available at Lego.com is $100 off Ninjago City Gardens. If you're into quirky builds and interesting display pieces, I can recommend this one. It was quite hard to get discounted when released and now of course there's the new Ninjago City Markets to go with it.
I have still to build Hedwig and the Collisseum yet so no more purchases from me.

Yeah had a look at the mug set but you have to spend $105 on things like City, Friends and HP, which I don't usually do directly from Lego as they're almost always available at a good discount at the majors, and there wasn't anything that stood out as a must buy.
Was tempted by 20% off Pac-man but went with the Museum to hit the threshold for both GWPs. The double points will be nice too

And of course there's always Black Friday weekend - usually not as interesting for members but they can have some good discounts and quirky freebies. I got a very cool Lego blanket I think from one Cyber Monday deal.
So what did everyone get?
Pre-ordered the museum. I already have the Viking Village on back order so couldn't really justify any more. Unless of course there's something good on next weekend
PS Insider weekend offers extended through to tomorrow, as they had some issues with the web site yesterday. So not too late to get in.

I've had a bit of a high stress day. I haven't unpacked any Lego since the move. Not planning to really until I sort out some storage and display options, which I haven't done. New place with plenty to do, so trying to spread out the expenses. Paying the place off as quick as possible is my aim - thanks for the recent rate hike though RBA, that helps heaps!
Anyway, I haven't been able to put my hands on any Speed Champions kits. I have a spare still in box '68 Mustang that I want to give as a gift so want to find it. Plus maybe reassemble the Countach and DB9 and put on a bookshelf for a while.
So I open each Lego box, ferret around. Nope, not in this one. Then I ran out of boxes! Then I repeated the process. Still nada. Then I started over thinking things. I counted the boxes: 10 with parts, 1 with plans. I thought I had 11 with parts!? Didn't I? Or was it 11 including the plans box? Argh, can't remember! OK, think about moving day. I know the old place was empty. I know the truck was empty at the new place. I was manning the entrance at the new place so I know no one lifted any boxes from the street or foyer. And I'm pretty sure I got the right count of boxes before I paid them at the end. Maybe some St Kilda dero lifted a box during the pack when I was upstairs guiding rather than guarding the truck and I miscounted at the end? Really starting to over think things now.
Nothing more for it. Clear a table and completely empty each box, ziploc by ziploc. Need to be sure now as completely stressing.
2 hours and six boxes in I found them. Phew! There were at the bottom of a box (of course) under a heap of city buildings which I mistakenly thought was city buildings all the way down so bailed too shallow during my earlier ferreting.
I can't tell you how relieved I am!

Some reasonable offers in amazon's black friday sale, including some I haven't seen discounted before. Nothing particularly earth shattering but they may well have what you're looking for.
Half a dozen sets at real Black Friday prices at K Mart. 10302 Optimus Prime $129, 76956 T-Rex Breakout $89, 76245 Ghost Rider Mech $19, 21243 Minecraft Frozen Peaks $19, 75334 Obi-Wan vs Darth Vader $29, 42145 Airbus Helcopter $149. All of these are around 60% off.
It's K Mart so as always an absolute lottery as to whether they have stock or not. I've ordered Optimus Prime (wasn't going to get this but at that price it'll be a lot of fun) C&C from my local store as the site said they had stock, but I'm not holding out a great deal of hope. Will let you know if it actually materialises.
I have the Airbus Helicopter - a great set if you're into technical sets. It has an authentic helicopter action and is motorised, so an excellent buy at that price.
UPDATE : Yep, as expected, order cancelled. I can't remember the last time I was actually shipped something I ordered from K Mart. I really don't understand why they bother with online shopping.

Yeah I tried to order delivery, it said "only available in store". Order click and collect, says local store has stock. Half an hour later, order cancelled. Website still showing available to order. If it wasn't Wesfarmers you'd swear blind it's a scam. Weird thing is I've had no issues at all ordering from Target (also owned by Wesfarmers). I don't know why I keep biting.s**t.

It seems K Mart's business model is to have a few days use of your money between the time they bill you and issue the inevitable credit.
My wife finished building the Disney castle yesterday. The original one that's been discontinued not the more recent one.

Stick with amazon. At least if they say it's in stock, it's in stock. They've also added new items and higher discounts throughout the week, so check your wishlist regularly. They now seem to be matching the Target sale (eg smaller Hogwarts $183)
