anything on branxholme
Branxholme Ramblers.
As early as 1893 they have had the same name and colours but can't find anything on the actual colours or pattern. (Appears they were in recess from 1891-1892) but prior to 1891 they were using the same colours and name.
You could reach out to the club on FB. Someone will know or give a contact number for someone who does. Only merged in 1983 so not that long ago.

A good source of info is -

History of football in the Western District : Hampden Football Netball League, Western Border Football League, Mininera & District Football League, Warrnambool & District Football Netball League, South West District Football Netball League / compiled by John Stoward

You might be able to borrow it through a library.

doubt my local library will have it

Wallacedale Wanderers.
There's mention of the Wanderers winning the 1920 flag against Portland in the South west association. A small league of 4 to 5 teams. Well before their time in the wallacedale and district football association 1931-54
Portland were referred to as ports and a Casterton team referred to as "rainbows"
BigChippa52

Typed Wallacedale football club into trove. Then it will convert images of articles into text. But often the words jumble. It's needle in a haystack type of stuff. In match reviews they sometimes refer to the teams as nicknames but hardly ever. Wanderers is mentioned in a few articles but this one says. The grand final was moved from the Wanderers ground to condah

for Branxholme Wallacedale, their logo stays the same, but their kit is a black version of the Saints 2017 clash their alt is a red variation of this, a branxholme retro kit was made with a logo It has the design of the Hawks 80's kit with a BFC monogram, this is their logo which is the saints shield with this added, A wallacedale retro kit was done which was a red base with blue stripes and flipped Melbourne monogram, this was put onto the port shield for their logo

Millicent have gone back to old design and West have gone with an uninspired Melbourne guernsey. I'm a bit confused how this league will work now. Will the MSE and KNT clubs just join in at some point or have they scrapped the idea and just renamed the WBFL?

penola already joining next season, still waiting on a mse team but all teams have new designs for the most part new shorts and a new manufacturer for this "new area of local footy"

looks like casterton-sandford, have switched to navy

Port Mac would be the next best candidate to join the league (if they so desire). Their close proximity to Mount Gambier would entice players to choose to stay or play for them.
wests new kit says otherwise, from what i've heard all signs pointing to glencoe or the burr

That's why you have clash jumpers (see Hills and Barossa leagues among others)
from what I've heard it was not just that, mse want k'rong and pt mac to stay together the clubs want the same, tant is too small for the mount teams, Hatherleigh is one but aprently want to keep the rivalry they have with k'doo going, the burr are essently a second millicent side and its a new rivaly and would be good for the league and the burr are a strong club
