Millicent have gone back to old design and West have gone with an uninspired Melbourne guernsey. I'm a bit confused how this league will work now. Will the MSE and KNT clubs just join in at some point or have they scrapped the idea and just renamed the WBFL?
TBH I think Millicent's design is more uninspiring to be honest

I posted this here may last year.

I wonder if this is still the plan. Some of the travel distances are crazy and there's no way I'd travel anywhere that takes longer to get there than the game itself.
Also you'll notice in this pic, east and Casterton are the only clubs that don't have new guernseys, which should confirm that they will get new ones once they join the mse side of the comp

I think the best idea is
Mt Burr
Hatherleigh
Kalangadoo
Robe
Tantanoola
Nangwarry
Penola
Glencoe
Kongarong
Port Mac
Millicent
North
South
East
West
mse think the mount teams are too strong and some of the smaller/weaker clubs will struggle to survive, i think they want to keep 3 leagues

Nangwarry will fold under this proposal. They'll get flogged against the Mount teams.

don't want to be rude but you have no idea, K'doo are mse through and through and were first off the table, they are the main ones against this, the mse team is more likely to be the burr
Obviously i dont live in the area anymore so yeah I don't have any idea. I read an article a few years ago that said Kdoo would be the most likely to move over so I thought that was still the case

They get flogged by the mse teams, what's the difference lol.
They're slowly getting there, though. Think last year they managed 2-3 wins. The Mount teams will flog them 10x worse.

fair enough but yeh, k'doo would be a good fit but its the club its self the players and supporters that are the reason why the won't move they are the team that is the leading against this

penola is set to join in 2025 all confrimed, but they are still trying to get a mse team, none want to buge, would make all the leagues even, but mse team joining won't happen until 2026 if at all, Casterton are encorugeing the league to get a few more vic teams, which would likely be portland and hamilton, as Haywood and Coleraine are doing great where they are

i just don't want to see the vic teams stuggle, hamilton have improved this season, but portland has been horrid (so have east going winless) but id do that 2 vic sides and a mse team (mt burr) andf thats the league set
The Burr is the most successful club in the MSE. You sure they'd leave?

The Victorian clubs (Portland and Hamilton) would do better in the LCFL than the Hampden which is a stronger level. It would actually be a better level for them to play at however it seems both clubs prefer to be in a VIC league.
The Hamilton Kangaroos might have to change their design if it clashes with Castertons light blue.
None of the SWDFL would be suitable to play over the border though.
A fun concept would be merging SWDFL sides to make a prospective LCFL team.
