Don't see the rush for Liverpool to push Klopp out the door (unless he wants to walk away himself).

He is a Scouser Managerial Legend and has the chance to join the likes of Shankley as a LFC Immortal if he hangs around for at least another 10 years or so.
Every single person associated with Liverpool wants Klopp to stay forever but Klopp has made it pretty clear that at the end of his current contract he will walk away. It's deep sadness but we will end up with Klopp longer than any of his previous stays. Seven years at Mainz and Dortmund and we thought similar here but then he extended to make it 9.

It's interesting that Gerrard has been given a 2 and a half year deal which means his contract conveniently runs out at the same time as Klopp's.

But I'm still hoping and praying everyday that Klopp will extend again even though he has said he wont.

Also this is a big risk for Gerrard. If it goes poorly at Villa and he gets sacked, his dream of managing Liverpool probably disappears. But if he goes really well then the possibility really opens up for him to take over from Klopp.

Good answer but we all know where he wants to manage haha.

Yeah can't imagine Villa fans will warm to him much knowing he's just a 'loan'.

I don't think there is any truth in the Zidane links at all, has been no word out of United that they are looking for someone right now, all signs point towards an appointment for next season.

Way more accuracy in the Rodgers links.

I didnt even realise how terrible they were going because they are still sitting in 7th. But there recent record is bloody awful.

L - Watford 1-4
L - Man City 0-2
W - Tottenham 3-0
L - Liverpool 0-5
L - Leicester 2-4
D - Everton 1-1
L - Aston Villa 0-1

That's some awful form.

Seems like United are targeting Zidane as Ole's replacement, makes sense with the connection to Ronnie at Madrid.

Ronaldo is only going to be around for a couple of years. Doubt Utd are signing managers based on them having a connection with him.

I hope not, I loved him as a player but not sure he is a great fit for United

Apparently he is a lot more open to managing in England than he was previously.

I hope he doesn't take the United job either, but it seems like its probably going to happen.
