Wowee. I had changed my tune over the past few weeks and was excited to see if Poch could kick on with the team next season

Feels like a real trend and a power struggle currently generally.

Managers want more control over transfers, and the DOF / Sporting Director model is very in currently.
Who lied to who about how much say they'd have with poch and Chelsea?

Poch has always wanted a big say in transfers, wrongly to the extent he demands imo

Chelsea have clearly set out a plan for a head coach.

I don't think it needs to be done by end of June but you'd think he and Chalobah were a couple Poch wanted to keep. So yeah, he'll be at Spurs next season which sucks.
Isn't there a weird cut off date mid window the sales need to go through by? From the forest and Johnson situation that's what I gathered, they'd have been better off selling for less earlier than holding out for as much as they got from us.

We've already made a fair few sales this financial year so I don't think it'll matter. I think it's more the media twerking it.

Oh good so they are pushing forward with selling Gallagher.

******* idiotic.
Blame FFP/the ridiculous spending. The whole pure profit thing means most clubs will just use academies as Fixed Term Deposits

Most clubs would be very happy with a first year manager whose team improved by 19 points, improved its GD by 23, improved its league position by 6 spots, qualified for Europe, and made a Cup final and a semifinal

But at Chelsea you get fired leave by mutual consent.

That’s a bit of a baffling decision. Poch did so much better in the second half of the season.

Sounds like Poch was pretty keen to leave if things weren't done his way so there's really no point staying together. Sounds amicable.

Those last 5 games really changed the landscape.
