Absolutely came out of nowhere this.
Would be good if it was Nantes.

It doesn’t reflect well on A League that the coach of one of its biggest clubs leaves to take up an assistant role in Japan. Aloisi did the same when he left Brisbane
No chance a Ligue 1 club signs him.Would be good if it was Nantes.
Some talk from Victory sources that he is taking over at Oxford Utd. That would make sense in terms of needing an immediate departure.
There would be no need to leave immediately for an assistant role in Japan. They've just finished their season, the players are all on holiday, pre season starts in the new year. League starts in March. An immediate departure does not make sense for a J-League role.
Regardless, J-League management is a proven pathway for Australia managers to Europe.
Guess we will find out one way or the other shortly.
That Peacock guy (can’t remember his first name) was on RSN this morning and he said Kisnorbo has taken on asst role at Yokohama. City group part owners so that may be part of the attraction
A lot of prep needs to happen before players return. He’s made a commitment to join so may as well leave nowOnce again that doesn't conflate with an immediate departure. J-League clubs are on holiday, they don't start pre season until the new year.

He’s not even in the top 10 on betting sites for Oxford job so not sure where you’re getting that info. Just passing on what Adam Peacock said and I’d say he’d have better contacts than either of usFirstly he would need to agree a contract termination before he could do that. Considering he's just signed a 3 year contract and MVFC would have planned the team around that the immediate response from the club would have likely been no. And that normally takes time to agree. Ideally the club would want to identify a new manager first before agreeing a termination and compensation would need to be discussed as he had just signed up. There's processes involved. J-League clubs currently aren't doing anything, there certainly wouldn't be a need for an immediate termination if he has in fact joined a J-League club.
The other rumor going around is Oxford has signed him. And that does make sense for an immediate termination.

At least he's aware unlike EtH
You don't think one relates to the other? But but but, it’s the injuries. And not the 19 wins from his last 50 league fixtures lol.
Injuries only relevant for the last 10 league games max
Only league games? Players aren't injured for the cups?Injuries only relevant for the last 10 league games max
