He's got good defenders at Everton though compared to West Ham, but yes our midfield is woeful. Gueye, Mangala, Doucoure and Garner are bog average. I'd take a Championship level Curtis Jones over them.

The European Cup Winners Cup win ranks higher. As the name suggests you had to win something to enter the competition. Hammers won the 1964 FA Cup then next season won the European Cup Winners Cup.

Moyes would be an ideal interim. Get the team up and running, fighting hard.

Then, hire a more progressive manager in the off season after escaping relegation.. I was surprised they gave him until 2027.
