It's basically just a green mogwai

Yes that’s I keep referring to him as Gizmo in my head.

When he gobbled up that little lizard, I said out loud “I hope it’s not after midnight”. Sadly as I was watching by myself, no one was around to hear it.

That's what we're here for.

So three Episodes in I have some small gripes with the main.

The guy is called Mando... is he the only Mandalorian in the galaxy? Cause seriously there's a whole club of them on the same planet he hangs out at.
He walks with such... daintiness. It's quite feminine really. Watch and he really considers each step. This leads in to my next point that he has very little aura. Yes he's been badass in combat but when the big gun isn't out, he has nowhere near the presence of Boba or even Jango. His physical demeanour and his vocal delivery just aren't getting it across. He doesn't sell that he's a bounty hunter with a reputation.

It's a very well done show but it's nothing new or creative and without developing a harder edge I can see it getting stale fast if the highly cliched third episode is an indication.

I am one year older than him

Mind, no one really knows in what context as it's kinda like dog years where X doesn't equal Y, so for all we know at present 50 means 3, since he can walk around but not speak and has innate force ability, and the only real known one was Yoda who lived to about 900 years and Lucas made a point to hide the species and any mention of lineage.

So for intents and purposes, it's Lucas' force sensitive frog mixed with Gizmo and they're awaiting the Star Wars Christmas Special.

I can see the issues people are bringing up - and it looks like the show was written and produced real quick. Some of these plot issues could have been tightened up with a bit more thought

The YodaBaby is 50 - that , to me , places this 800 years before Skywalker.

Mando - as pointed out is his race not his name

Fan Service

Baby Yoda is the Xmas toy
''Check the perimeter'' from a stormtrooper
Jawas

The only piece of fan service I really wanted was when he got shortchanged by Greef Karga - he should have had the gun under the table poking Greef. But minor moan

It’s set between episode 6 & 7 so it’s obvious it’s not actually Yoda.

its not actually yoda himself, just another from that species, which has never actually been given a proper species name, but it will apparently finally be given one in this show.

thats why people are calling it baby yoda, no name still for the individual nor the species yet

My main issue for not wanting Disney+ is that Disney are having an unbearable grip on the market and I do not want to endorse it. First they buy Fox, now they pull all their material from the original streaming networks to create their own. They can honestly survive without my money, yes I know that can be said about a lot of companies but Disney is right right up there at the top of them, and it isn't like I won't be paying for their products in other ways ie movie tickets, merchandise, etc.

It's a stranglehold that I don't want to contribute to and I think that it will kill expression and creativity as they have rules about the things that can be made under their name.

Some of you have already said 'well that's the market if other mobs go bust that happens they have to improve their product' but I don't buy that because Disney was never in danger of going bust before + and it isn't going to be afterwards. That's the difference. It's killing competition for no other reason than greed.

Plot twist - not a man but actually a Womando.

As a non-star wars fan I am enjoying it so far and hate to admit it but the cuteness of baby Yoda has got me...dammit

This is the way.

Just wondering, do you use any apple products? Because I don't touch them for similar reasons.
