if you broke records it would of been because of the other clubs drawing power

yhe latest rm research says it all as it showed hawthorn to have the 4th smallest supporter base in the afl

LOL doesn't the same offical rm research show that the Lions and Swans have the biggest. Crowds and attendances are the only thing that matter and Hawthorn shame Geelong in both.

Home games in Aurora for 2007

Hawthorn vs. Port - 15,726
Hawthorn vs. Geelong - 17,216
Hawthorn vs. West Coast - 18,114
Hawthorn vs. Kangaroos - 18,916

Even the Kangaroos and West Coast have more drawing power then the minnow Cats.

Draw 50,000 against an interstate club just once and then troll the Hawks drawing power.

Not when you win there all the time

. Geelong is so small, that the Hawks play the Lions and Swans in Melbourne instead of Geelong because they can make more money from the Swans and Lions fans rolling up.

im glad you brought that up beccausehawthorn is cheating when they do that, they always play 2 vic sides in tassie because they want a home ground advantige.

according to the rm poll geelong have a bigger supporter base then hawthorn

If people didn't want to pay high ticket prices they would buy a membership. Don't use ticket prices as an excuse.

And where's the evidence of Hawthorn having the 4th smallest supporter base?

I read in the paper that Hawthorn have the 2nd LARGEST in the league.

I read it so it must be true

If you had more then 5-10,000 fans in Melbourne we would...but the fact is that we draw more supporters playing Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide etc. in Melbourne then we do playing the minnow Cats.

The only reason why the minnow Cats numbers are half respectable is because the played a game against Collingwood that drew 75k toothless black and white ferals.

ofcourse wc have more drawing power you idiot, north playe you later in the year so more people would be prepared to fly over

you have no clue at all do you, if you actualy think about it you can work out that it does make sense that sydney and bris are 1 and 2 ,but they are exceptions

Your only sponsor
 How could you be a Dawks fan and not see our Shorts?

See the little Purple circle, inside the little purple circle is our 2nd sponsor, NIB. Not very good photo I know, but meh.

And how many supporters do the Roos have? Especially compared to Sydney and Hawthorn.

That's a really stupid comparison.

The Kangaroos are a MELBOURNE BASED club with 20,000 members.

Sydney are a SYDNEY BASED club with 9,000 VICTORIAN members.

Stupid comparison indeed.

Yet we still have more premierships, members, bigger crowds, better facilities, supporter and more sponsors then you.

We are clearly a better club.

It's as though Hawthorn announced the Tassie sponsorship last week.

This news is over one year old, people...

Most of the Kangaroo fans on here are quite slow-witted and Geelong is probably at least one year behind Melbourne when it comes to the latest news, so you can understand why they'd latch onto this like a new toy.

you havent one a premiership in a fully developed profesional national competition ,we have

you have more members and higher crowds because of the high ticket prices as skilled

you have better facilities because yours are newer than ours

you dont have more supporters than us ,as the rm pollpoints out,it will be interesting to see how much our supporter base grows after winning this years premiership.Think about how tempting it would be for a youn child to jump ovet to geelong ,a vic side hasnt one a flag for 7 years so a geelong supporter would have ultimate bragging rights in the play ground
