My God.
At last - just a scintilla of balance in media in this p***ant state.
The presumption of entitlement the Crers have beggars belief.
Then have the unmitigated gall to cry "not fair" when called out., and 5% of the media provides a counter argument to the spin incontinence.
Poor diddums'.
Have a Bex and a cuppa and get back to knitting!

Having a quick squiz at their idiotic board they are questioning why Kym Dillon wasn't on the show as he's the only one who's fairminded and keeps Rooch in line. Now Wildy apparently is anti CROWS too. FMD.

Here's a tip, if you're wondering where Kymbo is, have a look in the gutter outside the Buckingham Arm's where he might be with a pocket full of losing TAB stubs.

It's all amazing.

Skip to 10:11 to hear Colin Young's call.

this post should pinned at the top of the port board... i just listened to this whilst cleaning out a greasy exhaust fan at home with the biggest grin on my dial.... Young absolutely owned wrinkles.... "Graham your doing my head in" Graham eating humble pie and trying to save face was gold...

It's really not. I can guarantee you that Pyke would much prefer having Cameron in his team over whoever they select with 12.

Cameron was their best pressure forward and best burst runner, so not only did he have the ability to break lines with his speed against sides that locked the ball inside their forward 50, he also has the ability to help lock the ball in with his tackling and pressure which allowed Pyke to play Walker and Jenkins in the same forward line.

Getting Gibbs but losing Lever and Cameron is quite literally one step forward and two steps back for Adelaide. Hence why the trade for Cameron was done so late in the piece - and only after they got Gibbs.

True, but they got more than they would have imagined when they knew he’d leave.

Crows supporters on their board are siding with the mouth piece.
But... why? construct your own opinions sheep.
They cant .. the crap has been fed to them .. they believe in the crap .. even when there is proof that the crap is wrong.
All hail the crap. We want to feed on more crap.
Oh geez :D

True, but they got more than they would have imagined when they knew he’d leave.

I'm personally of the opinion that the narrative was already set up by Adelaide that Cameron 'wanted to stay' and they weren't going to trade him at all because they knew how important he was. It was only when Brisbane put pick 12 on the table that they knew they'd get lynched by Adelaide supporters if he left at the end of next year for nothing when they could have had 12, so they did the deal.

I thought Pick 12 was on the table from the outset but the Crows weren't happy with it so they asked for Zorko (lol) or Pick 1 (lol squared) instead?

I might have this wrong but that's my memory of it.

Nah, it was 19 that was on the table from the start.

The fact that they asked for 1 or Zorko just goes to show how much they didn't want to lose Cameron.

Yeah it makes sense to offer 19 first, keeping 12 as the back up plan.

He was leaving next year for nothing so they made the right move by doing the deal, even though they clearly didn't want to.

I'm surprised this article is still exists on the 5aark website:

Multiple Reports Charlie Cameron Is Going To Stay At The Adelaide Crows

Stephen Rowe said on Wednesday’s FIVEaa sports show he had some “mail on Charlie Cameron”.

“My understanding is this: he is staying. But more importantly, he wants to stay. He’s got a strong relationship with Don Pyke.

“From that they’ve had a bit of a chat last night, they’ve rung his manager Colin Young: he is staying. All bets are off. Charlie Cameron wants to stay, hasn’t been talked into staying he wants to stay. That is massive.”

Seems like Shuttlecock tipped off THE SHOUTER with the same revelation too!

This has now morphed into good ol' Rowey's enthusiasm getting the better of him and the club did not lie to anyone and Cameron's manager is wrong and Rooch can go and get stuffed!

Cornes and Rowe talking shit about the Cameron saga on 5AA.

Rowe reckons he 'embellished' what he was told and that AFC had said that Cameron had simply committed to the club if a trade couldn't get done, and that since the defensive coordinator who played golf with Cameron said that Pyke had joined them for the first nine holes it means that the club wasn't lying. Then they reckon that when Pyke saw Cameron get emotional after meeting his mother in Perth, the call was made to do the trade.

I've got a different picture to paint.

The AFC defensive coordinator organizes a game of golf with Cameron. Pyke ambushes him at the golf course and tries his best to railroad him into staying, spinning his crap about loyalty. Cameron, feeling pressured having Pyke and Teague in his ear, agrees that he'll be committed if a deal can't be done. Pyke leaves and goes back to the club to tell the list managers the 'good news'. Cameron sends a message to his manager and to his mother about how Pyke had bullied him into doing something he didn't want to do - hence Young stating that there were a few messages from him and his mother that night which were 'upsetting'. Cameron is visibly upset when meeting his mother in Perth, and Cameron's mother tells Pyke - who had flown over to talk to his family - to **** off.

So the trade had to be done.

This is one of your theories I actually buy.
