Hang on, after that Robert Walls discussed how our run and carry was very good and a couple of other things, then he said it was great from a club he felt was underperforming for a few years, because of those well known circumstances. Yeah, they didn't discuss it much, but they did at least give some credit. They also showed the coaches stockmarket, with Worsfold at the top of the tree. ;)

Well they were kind of obliged to go into that after the 10 minute "Dogs were rubbish" lead in but for mine it did seem a little bit forced as if to say "we do provide a balanced show"

Yep, agree with that, to an extent. The media does revel, as a whole, not just sports, in negative stories. It's more headline making, or it's the simplest story, not sure. Takes more effort to actually dig and find out why the Eagles have improved.

agreed..the only thing that makes any sense when it comes to the mysterious and perplexing intricacies of the dark eastern footy media!?

its comforting to know in moments like these, his Dudeness will always shine a light on our troubled path! ;)

All I am going to say is that the 4 on Footy Classified, especially Grant Thomas and Hutchy would want to be careful.

Worst elements of the media at work with that bunch.
Thomas started by saying (in reference to us) that last time they had this form their players should have been tested, or something along those lines.... I turned off and went to bed.

He was alright later on

It's not so much the medias response to WCE but their response to the teams we play.

Melbourne and Western Bulldogs have both been slammed by the media following losses to WCE - suggesting that their coaches and players are in poor form - not accepting that WCE are in great form.

I took it as being a flippant, smart arse comment, is all. He loves woosha, so all is OK, said he was wrong about him.

He was alright later on

:thumbsu::thumbsu: and Caro just loves Shuey, always has she says. She's starting to look really hot!

I watched the footy shows last night and I discovered something that shook me deeply. Guys and girls I want you all to brace yourself. I am about to reveal a most disturbing fact that may change the way you think about football and life in general.

Sometimes, some footballers drink beer. Yes, I know you are probably reeling in disbelief right now, just as I was, but don't worry, it's ok. Having watched the footy shows, I have discovered that footballers are allowed to drink beer, just as long as nobody finds out about it. That's right Gerard Healy and all the others don't mind if players drink beer, but heaven forbid if they catch you doing it.

You may be thinking that players drinking beer doesn't come as a huge shock to you. Well, you're wrong. What you don't seem to understand is that now you've seen these images, you will no longer support Adelaide (if you ever did) and what's even worse, you'll no longer purchase that Toyota you were planning on purchasing. I can't explain to you why, but apparently it's all to do with the Adelaide brand and image. Personally, I'm spewing. I was thinking of getting a new Hi-Lux but now I can't. Thank you Taylor Walker.

Whilst I admit I am still a little shaken after last night's expose, I thank the collection of ex-footballers, former coaches and generall hangers-on for revealing the disturbing truth and take comfort in the knowledge that none of them ever succumbed to the amber peril themselves.

I must admit to shaking my head at the sheep these "commentators" have become.

They were all slagging Neil Craig for saying he had no issue with it...

FFS...he wasn't injured. He'd already played in the twos. The team was in Melbourne, and yet we have these knobs all jumping into line to see who can "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" the loudest.

Having a quiet beer with mates while watching the footy is now verboten...they need a ****ing brain transplant, the lot of them

The apocalypse is surely nigh...

It arrived, long ago for me!

Caro is actually the one that quite strongly told them to pull their heads in and that it was a non issue. Not sure if she's changed over the summer or I have, but she's not as bad as many say she is.

With Hutchy carrying on that it was a silly thing to do, she said at worst it's silly. I think it was on one week at a time that Darcy said, so if he was having a bbq at home, with his mates, it'd be a non-issue.

I love how these trash diggers have become social commentators now. :)

In fairness to this comment, we were wooden spooners and we were sh!t last yr. I know we have a new game plan and players back from injury. But a team that has been top 4 for a few years to be done by 123. Any team that gets done by 20 goals is serious trouble.

we know the pies are in good form, so this week will show where we are at, hopefully we don't get done by 123 points (which i doubt), it should be close.

problem for us is we don't have pendles, swan, ball, daisy or enough big body defenders

problem for them is they don't have a ruckman, and have plenty of headaches with our forawrd line.

She actually does look better - odd i know

Grant Thomas' drug testing jibe was obviously misdirected. I think they should do such tests upon signing up for BF, if such comments as this are for real.

She needs more plastic surgery than Michael Jackson, as well as a panel beater.

I didn't say she looked good, I said better
