Built like a brick shit house but calls him self a ball playing defender, I wouldn't have a clue on how talented he is as a player but he will get his chance the season and I look forward to seeing how he goes.

Well pretty happy about the Cahill signing.
Will bring some good publicity and hopefully bigger crowds for Melbourne City.
The contract $$ doesn't phase me as the club & the city group are rolling in it.

Very underwhelming performance. Still think Brattan looks like a good pickup. Needs a haircut though. 
With Victory signing Rojas they've got an unbelievable attack, we need a damn good CB and visa player!

I've never seen him play or even heard of him before you mentioned him so it's quite hard to comment. As a visa spot I'd jump at someone of his experience but as a marquee spot I'd be quite skeptical.
Yeah, I agree. Would be a great addition as a visa, but would be an interesting choice of marquee. I reckon he would be the first respected non-marquee Brazillian to come into the league, and so I would be thrilled if we could get him on a visa..

Would be fantastic but he apparently has two more years on his contract, I've got to question whether the club would be to keen on paying a transfer fee.
Given he has been in and out of the squad Gremio might be keen to offload him for nothing to free up some wage liabilities, particularly if they signed him on big money. He fits the profile, but i havent seen anything else that would indicate he's either wanting to leave Gremio or wanting to come to Melbourne.
