But the beauty of Josh and Nick Daicos, is that they only need 50% of their father's talent to be superstars of the competition. Even at 20% talent they're still serviceable footballers at worst.

That's how good Peter was.

Not to criticise Daicos, but I was a bigger Brown fan myself. Just loved his determination. His son appears to have the same trait flowing through his veins.

I'm torn between wanting Shai Bolton - as the line breaker we need - and freaking out about the fact he'd probably just want to go home to WA in 2 years. What is it with WA? It's the go home capital of the world.

Perth is the most remote capital city in the world. It's got a very idiosyncratic culture that can't really be found in the east.

It's not just that they want to go home to Perth, it's that Melbourne/Adelaide/Sydney are so different from what they're used to.
