Porters situation was 10x worse . He also has more strikes against his name and isnt as good a player either. He is toast

Will likely be 5-10 years jail even

People are saying charges may be more along the lines of attempted murder and not just domestic violence also

Good, throw the book at him.

What do you mean here?
A tough locker room and some mature leaders would have set him straight. He spent his formative years being unprofessional and took it to the NBA with him. Sometimes college just enhances your immaturity as opposed to kills it.

Most European teams or NBL teams would have humbled him or beat the shit out of him in training trying to humble him

He sounds like a psychopath

I doubt going to college would have made any difference tbh.

Why is Adam Silver still even debating the situation? Should have been banned by now. Going through some weird ass process is just normalizing it almost

Person he attacked is in hospital with broken bones/strangled etc so probably isnt in a place to comment right now etc. Few NBA journos talking about it on Twitter but nothing too formal yet
She also happens to be a WNBA player too which has just ruined any chance of playing in the nba again.

Rockets looking to offload him but who tf is going to take him. Silver might try to find a way to have the nba terminate his contract instead.

They are just looking to use his salary in a trade with a pick attached to try and get a replacement player. That team will waive KPJ straight away.

But if they waive him, then would they still have to pay out his full contract? Even if the NBA terminates his registration he is no longer a part of the team so they can't go back and terminate the money since he's not longer contracted? I dunno, stuff.

His NBA career is the least of KPJ's worries. He tried to strangle her too apparently which the prosecutors will rightfully push for attempted homicide/murder.

He is a clear and blatant threat and menace to the community and needs to be locked up for several years

Huh? I was talking about issues teams would face with getting rid of his contract if he was waived or traded & waived.

Its a one off 3 mill payment that will go to NBA CA and can be taken back.

Looks like Houston want to trade him now to trade in a replacement basically. I wonder if they want to have a crack for James Harden again or something
