Sorry for the intrusion, but it is painful to see this thread revived. At the end of the day, you guys have to ask yourselves this question. Does Priddis give more to the team than he detracts? If so, then there is no argument that he should be in your best 22. He feeds the ball to outside runners like Shuey and Gaff and allows them to wreak havoc with the Sherrin. I am amazed at some of the armchair experts on here whinging about his poor kicking and how he's not best 22, when he hardly kicks anyway and without him your outside runners would be stuffed. He is a highly skilled handballer and the hardest trainer in the team. He leads by example and is humble. He would be a shoe-in for any team and I personally hope he gets made captain. I am disgusted by some of the lowlifes on here who tried to ruin his brownlow win by whinging and spewing hate. In fact, I am disgusted that any supporter would do that to their own player when he has won the league's most prestigious individual honor. I hope you guys stick behind him, because he is one of your teams most valuable assets. Boy will you miss him when he is gone.
And this is why the old thread should not have been closed.
All these points have been discussed and answered before.
Now we have to go over it again.

Well done five. This is on you.

BTW. why is it that you think someone is a lowlife because they don't rate someone in their team?

And isn't calling someone a lowlife against the rules. Seems its the priddis lovers who can't stick to the rules.

Because in the old thread the same points weren't raised over and over again ad nauseum?

There's a reason why that thread reached 10,000 posts and it wasn't because people continually found new and exciting material to post.

So how long do you think it will take for priddis to be replaced by shred or duggan?
I think he will be phased out in 2016 and asked to retire at the end of that year.
Thoughts?

I'm interested because I'm looking forward to seeing our new midfield setup. Including the likes of Rosa gone as well.

Rosa? If he plays like he did first half of this year he will be in our best 22 for the next three years.

Priddis isn't going anywhere pre retirement. Gets to much of it to ever be dropped. It wont ever happen.
When will everyone realise Priddis is one of the first picked by every coach in the league.

If Simpson wanted to make a statement to players without the elite disposal he was accustomed to at Hawthorn he would of dropped Priddis round 1 2014.
He didn't because like all the other coaches who have played 100+ AFL games and possibly played in premierships he rates the things Priddis does well (better than every other sorry bastard in the league) as a good enough reason for him to be one of the first picked week in week out.

Why is Priddis the "no.1 choice" for everyone to mentor our newbees?

Shuey is our best midfielder by the proverbial country mile, and it's not like he's done a single thing wrong outside of the club or anything.

Get around Luke if you want to learn from the best. Or Masten for training standards.

The state government specifically asked that players not be assigned to train with Masten. The cost of houses being trained down is high enough already without doubling it.

Arrghh Yes of course ........ WA Ink raises its ugly head once again.;)

That's a fair point he doesn't miss a lot of games, I remember a story coming out a few years ago that Priddis had a degenerative knee injury which was going to shorten his career...haven't seen any sign of it so far.

Instead, it shortened his kicking length, kicking accuracy and decision making in traffic causing him to handball to players under more duress. ;)

We have tall players :p
Haha...not tall enough though, maybe we can sign this guy as a Cat B rookie
