Suggest you read up on the violence that occurred in Egypt in 2012-2013, that resulted in the highest number of casualties in Egypt's modern history, and literally hundreds and hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood members being sentenced to death alongside something like 15000-20000 Muslim Brotherhood members jailed. Also resulted in the execution of former President Morsi.

If you seriously believe Egypt doesn't want to open its borders because of "Hamas" then I cannot tell you how much you are wrong.

The reason why it isn't opened is because that is exactly what Israel wants Chad.

They want the Palestinians out. Gone. Every single last one.

Why do some people take the Economic itelligence unit seriously.
its just one very inaccurate survey.
For a start its based on a few British expats experience.
So if the country doesnt have alot of people that speak English such as Madrid its already down on alot of brownie points.
I didnt know speaking a certain language automatically gives you a better quality of life.
Secondly its based on living within the cbd .
Thirdly how can you not laugh at the EIU when they give Melbourne an almost perfect score for infrastucture and climate.
There are zillions of surveys proclaiming different cities to have the best quality of life.
Its all alot of bull. And these surveys all have some sort of correlation with these cities.
Even Melbournians dont take this survey seriously.
I finally returned to Madrid 4 years ago after living in Melbourne for 8 years.
The infrastructure in Melbourne is terrible.
The climate very grey and miserable most of the year not forgetting the terrible wind.
Restaurants are very average with mostly cheap representations of Asian cuisine.
Shops that close super early except on Thursdays and Fridays.
Melbourne is also quite boring concerning nightlife.
Melbournians are also prisoners of debt with their ridiculously high mortgages on houses.
Madrid has a much better and sunnier climate.
Fantastic public transport with zillions of buses , one of the best metros in the world and the second largest high speed train network on the planet.
Fantastic restaurants.
Shopping centres that close at 10 pm seven days a week.
Fantastic day trips.
Beautiful historic architecture.
Nightlife that has no equal.
And an unbelievable street life 24 hours a day.
Youre also a short plane ride to all the major cities in Europe.
The only thing Melbourne has over Madrid is its much easier to find work.
Just google cities with the best quality of life and youll see the amount of different cities that appear depending on the different studies undertaken.
The Australian media is also pathetically manipulative.

What's stomach churning is calling people who support Ukraine "Nazis" unilaterally. It's real bad-faith, disingenous argument crap, and signals that anyone who does so can't defend their Russian fandom without resorting to nonsense.

Plain and simple.

Ukraine struck weapons dumps and stockpiles with the ATACMS missiles.

Ignoring the nonsense about Russia responding with nuclear weapons, if they pulverise Kyiv (which is not a military target) in response then that will be an actual example of reckless escalation.
