As bad as that loss was, let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Suggesting dropping all of Cummins, Hazelwood, Starc and Lyon is madness. Who the f*** replaces all four of them?
Why would anyone drop Hazelwood? Dude bowled 21 overs with an economy of 1.33. Okay he wasn't Bumrah, but even in full flight they weren't smacking him. I know he was a bit average first innings, but I was there in the flesh front row watching him and he was looking good. The last dude I'd drop based off this week.

Cummins looked very very poor. Rusty even. Horrible tactics too, proving again he's not a great captain during adversity.
Not sure I'd drop the bowling unit.

Batting though? Different matter.
Marnus needs to go find some form at a minimum.

Lol

I was at Optus today for that. Hilarious cricket.
Late to the party but I sat front row in the sun every ball all day Didn't miss a ball. Had to survive crutchfruit screaming at McSweeney to come and sign every time he got near us (Not when Lyon is smacking through overs, lads), and then being mobbed by Indian fans when Kohli started to hit runs.

Of all the days to cop, that was tough. Seeing Pat's horrible tactics is one thing, but the smugness in the response whether they need to make changes is infuriating. He's a bit dislikeable at times.

The culture needs a massive reset. I get Langer was extreme to deal with, but yes man McDonald isn't the answer.

Morris would have to be up there with the most overrated cricketers coming through the system. Can see him kinda fizzling out in the next few years as he gets micromanaged by CA and fails to really build his red ball craft
His Sheffield Shield numbers the past few years are fantastic. Absolutely ridiculous they didn't give him a debut in a soft summer last year while he was hot.

Wild Thing plays while commo's talk about his extreme pace

135kmh pie floats down the pitch and gets smacked...

He's a decent bowler but the hype seems to far exceed the product so far on the bigger stages. Admittedly he does always seem to be returning from an injury.

Wow the selectors are so brave bring in a 30 year old, why not cant get any worse.
Yeh you're right, they should instead ruin the career of a 19 year old by throwing them into international cricket miles before they are ready.

Brilliant idea that.

Imagine the selectors picking a player under 24, no way the players have way to much input. They are all scared we might find some good players and they cant make the team ever again. Please drop the whole team and reset, they may win the series but our future is looking very grim.

Yeh thats gotta be it. They are scared of winning.

As opposed to the alternate theory of course, which is they are afraid of destroying the entire next generation of cricketers by exposing them to international cricket (and the best fast bowler international cricket has seen in some time) before they have even managed to score runs at domestic level.

Hazlewood ruled out of the test

Least we will get at least one change even if it's not someone we wanted to lose
Not sure what we gain from bringing in Boland though, he's a few months off 36. By all means keep him in the squad as drinks carrier/concussion sub.

Would love to see someone like O'Neill called up. This side desperately needs an injection of youth/excitement.

EDIT: Doggett, already 30, and Abbott called up. Meh.
