To be fair to Goroyals I don't think the way Konstas bats is sustainable long term in the test team.
It's exciting to watch and it's better than watching someone fiddle about for half an hour and edge it to the slips for 2 from 30 but he's got some work to do if he wants to stay in the side.

To be fair to Goroyals I don't think the way Konstas bats is sustainable long term in the test team.
It's exciting to watch and it's better than watching someone fiddle about for half an hour and edge it to the slips for 2 from 30 but he's got some work to do if he wants to stay in the side.

If you check his Shield stats, he bats at normal pace. I'm hopeful what we've seen so far is purely in response to conditions, and not the norm.

He will tone it down in Sri Lanka. From what I heard on the radio he played very well in India in the u18s

He should totally just be letting the opposition walk all over him coz he's young and inexperienced on the international test scene.
