Yeah nah. I don't buy it. Others in the comments explain why he's wrong and being far fetched. I enjoy CTs but it doesn't mean I just believe them. I like to dig into them, analyze, and decode if likely or unlikely. I am often slamming nutters on Twitter for their CTs. Sometimes there's an agenda going on to create and propagate insane CTs purely to keep giving the CT community a bad look.

Anyway, for this one.... It's either terrible GMing, or astute GMing (in time).

First time I watched was last night, the event is in Adelaide.

I am old school here—I think the PGA Tour meant something and am sorry to see that players went for the cash grab.

I could understand why the guys that were less than top tier would grab the cash

Personally, the PGAT needed a shake up. Zero personalities, over saturated with tournaments, a bunch of entitled "stars"and a blandness to week to week events, save the Majors and a handful of signature events.

Whilst I don't believe LIV is necessarily the right vehicle to be seen as the savior, it's a start. Saudi money aside, we are seeing world class golfers all over the world again without the host country forking out a Kings Ransom in appearance fees.

LIV, or whatever it morphs into, needs to become legitimate as a recognized tour for real strides to be made.

Problem is, the right answer is a proper world tour, like tennis. But this will never happen because of the travel adverse Americans.

I love stroke play. But, changes in format can give you different points of interest.

Teams thing is ok but for it to work like all teams sports, you need passionate rivalries to add subplots.

The rest, shotgun starts, no cuts etc are good for the viewing experience.

I went to an event in Bangkok few years ago and it was fun but not something I'd become devoted to.

A bunch of it does seem a bit gimmicky to me. The live music, the live social feeds and interactions. Youre right about teams, needs rivalries, i like the idea that there are drop zones where the team can decide to not re-offer or extend a contract to its team members, while team members whose teams finish top 12 or 24 get auto-resigned etc.

The team thing needs to stand out more, to have fans root for teams not the players, like football teams
