I concur ... no doubt there were a few laughs, but I dont think it was better than any episode in the first 7 seasons (except maybe the final episode of season 7)
Good thing nobody said that it was.;)

A few months ago I got into The Office. Watched episode after episode and caught up to the start of season 8 when it started.

Now I watch it most nights - just random episodes from every season.

Such a great show. One of my favourites of all time.

Disappointed that there aren't any Erin-in-the-pool gifs in here.

Re: The Office (u.s)

Im sure im not the only one that teared up with Jim and then with Pam at the airport. Thought his character developed so well throughout the series, from a pure David Brent tryhard clone to really being the leader of the pack. Some of his scenes where he took it up to David Wallace will always stick in my mind of the best of Michael Scott. Grew to love the character and yeah, it does feel like the end. I guess we'll see though.

Ferrell is exactly as I thought he'd be. I can see what they are doing with his character and I thought the final scene with the cake was great, but hes just not the right bloke for this show at all. Glad its only temporary.

I thought the best Michael was when Charles was introduced and the whole breakaway company thing was funny as. Andy and Michael were perfect to both have in the one office and the parkour starting to one episode made me lol.

also do enjoy seeing the Nard dog bust a move

The last 2 eps have been much, much funnier.

However the stories in them are SO terrible. They're jumping around horribly and not really finishing any threads properly.

A lot of good jokes, but no good stories.

thought this weeks episode was ok, smirked a few times.

Unfortunately, I think the show has changed now to a standard us sit com with no ongoing plot and just a different gimmick each week.

Was keen to see more of the new girl in this episode. They are rehashing the same jokes. Dwight and Andy already had a discussion about not getting each other's way with Erin in an earlier season - the previous discussion was a lot funnier.

My only hope is that there is a Michael Scott wedding story arc ... but i doubt that will be this season.

Love the show starting watching from the start 3 weeks ago and have finished the whole series, even without Michael I still like it, but I have to say it will never be the same without him

Just when you think the show is on a downhill slide, they produce an episode like that. One of the best in years.

Is pam still preggers away from the show? Not liking fat pam..i mean she has gained a LOT of weight even though she was preggers..wow.

I liked Andy's opening.

On FTA they're showing the episode/s where Creed was the acting manager. It's brilliant. Never downloaded those ones, so it's my first viewing.

Whenever Jim and Dwight have these mini wars I'd like for Dwight to actually win won for once, eg. the christmas episode where he snowballs Jim, although this ep wasnt a good example of this we all knew that nothing bad would happen to Jim

Wile E Coyote vs Road Runner rules. The coyote never wins.

Same concept....it always works...

I laughed through the entire Andy Footloose montage.
