There was an opportunity early in the draft to work out some sort of deal. Unfortunately if picks get swapped around now there would be consequences in terms of player morale. It's important that these guys don't feel like they are pawns. I've made a commitment to Thommo. He's a fantastic young guy and it will be a privilege to be associated with him this year.
