Just renewed after call from club.Explained to lady that really is no value to interstate members as we dont get to see any games.In the past when North played in Brisbane club would organise tickets for us.That has stopped so really is just a donation to club.

I'm sure the club wants to give interstate members value for their money. What can you do for Qld members if we don't go up there to play? Haven't checked the fixture. If we do go up there, then I would think that pre- and post-game functions could be held and other stuff could be put on to benefit our adult members (and their children).

As far as our trip to Freo, a couple of WA posters were critical of the lack of contact between the members and the players post game (not to bring up the onfield 'effort' again).

Doubt it DP, but I do reckon we will. The numbers have a funny way of rising at the last minute to meet our budgeted figure some years. I expect the same this year.

Not sure if players were instructed to but at least sam wright is training back at katamatite were it all started this thursday and i know at least ten people from around the club will join after thursday. good initiative if all players are going to do it

Always the optimist, I still hold out hope for 30000 , 900 in 8 days. Maybe after we beat Geelong and the Swans and everyone jumps on we can back date their payments

Seriously though, good to see the players heading back to their grass roots. Local clubs have so much admiration for their favourite sons who kick on into the big league. I'd love the club to give each player the goal of signing 10 new North members from their local club whilst there. That'll help us get to 30k.
