The kid has seen a Hawthorn premiership in more than half his life. Up until this year, he'd never known anything else.

He doesn't understand how lucky he is just yet, but he will...
Not too late to get him to be a brown supporter to learn humility and shame

Nah, nothing too serious, just a tonsillectomy... First time he's been under anaesthetic though, so ND wasn't my first thought all the same!

He's doing well, but the fun is just beginning with the pain.

He will be thankful he got them out young.

I've been writing up weekly NEXT DUEL Summaries on the ae16clubhouse via Facebook and this one is gathering some readers in the last hour..

ND Week 10 Results / Wrap:
Up to a dozen upsets results have made things pretty interesting now as there are six divisions that are wide open still with three divisions separated by a game from top to bottom. Amazing!!

We have two Division Champions already both from the Al Davis Conference as both WADW and Fuey clinching their respective titles after awaiting MNF results from losses to their respective challengers.

Fuey has clinched his third Divisional title (MARV LEVY) and even though he's 57th on the CR standings (record lowest for a ND Division winner) he still attains a 100% strike rate in the Division with a 6-4 record.

WADW has clinched his second Divisional title (JUNIOR SEAU) since 2008 when he clinched the Mean Joe Greene Division. Hovering in the Top 20, WADW is only 19pts outside from the Top TEN. It looked shaky last week for WADW as he dropped back to back games and against a Divisional foe and CR champ (Crowman23) who had him beat in 2012. But as a Jet, they fly together and McGarnacle (HRS Raffle Romp winner 2015) took down the dangerous Crowman23 in one of the dozen upsets which stitched up the Junior Seau Division.

The EMMITT SMITH Division has four contenders but it really is three because 4th placed Statsman74 (6-4) needs a tied result between the top two Broken (7-2-1) & Tomatosauceling (7-3) who happen to go head to head this week in one of blockbuster match ups of the week. Raskolnikov (6-3-1) is third and would clearly will prefer a Tomatosauceling victory as Broken has the h2h tie-breaker over Rasko.

Hoosier Riggo Diesel's 61-46 victory over Buckeye AmericanFoe (4-5-1) may have determined the leader of the JOHN LYNCH Division but it's still a division that has four contenders with fourth placed Moo (4-6) hanging on by half a breath (claims h2h tie-breaker on Riggo). Sblack (5-5) is a game behind in second and knows a Riggo win against Raskolnikov will clinch Riggo Diesel's first ND divisional title so really, there is a booster rally for Rasko this week with each of Riggo's divisional opponents hoping to push the John Lynch Division down to the wire in week 12.

It's five live units in the TUNA PARCELLS Division which has all kinds of scenarios. The 2011 3XKO Champ, ShinyOnTop and Eq 3rd CR Danielz23 are equal at 6-4 atop the Division but Danielz23 has been already swept in the division meaning it 'backs against the wall' esp after his upset loss to Geckoman (5-5) on the weekend. ShinyOnTop (Top 20 CR) can clinch the Division with a WIN against Aussiedude as long as Scotty (5-5) and Geckoman (5-5) both lose. Scotty upset Shiny on the weekend to keep Shiny honest. Kadog (5-5) is also right in the mix but faces the rookie Scotty in a do or die match up. Geckoman has Shiny in the final week that could really make this Division a grandstand finish provided Geckoman can overcome iLuvParis who is already eliminated out of the ND play-off race.

Phillipe Rivers (4 INT) and his skunk Chargers are to blame for the SHANNON SHARPE Division being a two horse race between Osmodiar (5-4-1) and Camsmith (5-5). Camsmith squeezed out a one point squeaker over JD to remain in contention as Osmodiar needed the 'Fins to pull out a huge defensive play as the Chargers looked home and hosed but to Bucketss, NDG and GG's chargrin, it was a PICK SIX by ex-Bills LB Kiko Alonso who flushed out three competitors and the Chargers in the last 80 seconds. Bucketss was very stiff to drop his third close contest of the season thanks to the Chargers who were at midfield.
Osmodiar (2nd CR) faces Danielz23 (Eq3rd) in one of the CR blockbuster match ups of the season.

Showbag (7-3) let a massive opportunity slip as he was pantsed by JUNIOR SEAU Division Champ, WADW, in trying to keep Gridiron Warrior (8-2) honest after MNF as the G-Men prevailed to set up GW for the DANIMAL HAMPTON Division tittle. Demonic ascent to go h2h with Showbag to determine an early elimination for the only wildcard available. A Demonic Ascent (6-4) victory will clinch the division for Gridiron Warrior who defeated Demonic last week.

In the Ralph Wilson Conference, Two time ND Champ, Superfreak (5-5) is in self-survival mode as he sits third but faces both leaders of the BRETT FAVRE Division after #1 CR Striker475 eclipsed Galactic for the Division lead at 7-3. Galactic has been to the ND Big Dance before in 2011 and will fight to keep Striker475 from claiming this division provided Striker475 drops to BPG in what what be a monumental upset. Galactic has his own big fish to fry with Superfreak on the menu.

It's Chism who has regained ascendancy in the not so tight fisted JOE GIBBS Division after coming from behind to snatch victory from Woodson who will no doubt lament another capitulation with four straight losses after looking all roses at 4-2. The Honey Badger (5-5) got pipped by Prawnographer meaning that Chism climbed back to #1 in the division. However it's also worth noting that Bipolarbear's (5-5) stunning upset of Island Bomber has given the rookie some hope considering he has the h2h tie-breaker over Chism. Bipolarbear faces Woodson in a MUST WIn match up whilst Balmainforever aka The Honey Badger has a pearler match up with TGBB. Chock Nurris (4-6) has been eliminated based on losing his h2h match up with Chism in Week 8.

It's a two horse race in the Marshall Faulk Division which features BGT2110 (7-3) and Primetime Pricey (6-4) who both suffered shock losses to American Crow and Sblack respectively. As BGT has the h2h tie-breaker, he is just one win away from capturing his first ND Division as he faces last season's ND Finalist BoKnows34 who hopes to play the spoiler on MNF as their teams go h2h as well. Primetime Pricey faces the resurgent Swannies in what will be a worthy marquee match up.

Division perfect Sven leads the JACK LAMBERT Division with a 7-3 record still despite his stunning loss to Swannies. But it's Prawnographer who has emerged to square up to Sven with his 7-3 record to give himself a shot and press for his second ND Division. However there is a wrinkle here because Starlin Castro (6-4) is sitting patiently and needs Sven to trip over twice as the 2015 3XKO Champ, hopes to take down Prawnographer in the regular season finale to determine the Division title winner (with help from Sven's upcoming opponents). Starlin Castro has Larkis to deal with whilst Prawnographer has a bigger challenge with Island Bomber on the rebound. Sven seeking his fifth Division title meets Papa Juggs who can't be taken lightly esp after his stunning 56-52 upset over ND #1 seed, SimonOz.

Is there blood in the TIM BROWN Division water? After two stunning upsets which have held up SimonOz (8-2) and Island Bomber (7-3) who ironically face each other in the season finale.. it's BLOODS33 who has pushed closer with an emphatic win over Blacky to be 7-3 but here's the clincher that is very similar to Statsman74's plight.. Bloods33 has dropped both h2h match ups to his divisional title challengers and clearly needs both to lose this week and hope for a TIE in Week 12 between his nemesis. Bloods33 has to account for Chock Nurris first and foremost before anything as SimonOz goes h2h with Chism and and Island Bomber gets Prawnographer in a MUST WIN situation. Marquee Match ups overload!!

If you want a more mud in your eye… here's the LEN FORD Division to throw your attention into. There is one game separating first to last… nobody is above .500 and there is a TIE in the mix as well with Zealbee (4-5-1) sitting half a game behind Swannies and Marcuz (both 5-5) who play-off against each other in Week 12… but this week is all about American Crow and BeLikeMike who face off in an elimination at 4-6. The winner here will want everyone to lose and that's possible as Swannies has a desperate Primetime Pricey to deal with whilst Zealbee faces up to PeterBuch74 (CR Top 20) and Marcuz gets the out of sorts Blacky who has already claimed two Divisional leader scalps earlier this season. Zealbee's tie to winless Tyrodtheking could end up costing him the division.

Even DAN REEVES will be incredibly overwhelmed with his division has to offer with sub-plots in the mix as we have a real similar situation to the Len Ford Division with nobody over .500 and it's a three way tie at the top currently with BornAgainIdiot atop with a 3-0 record holding out on TGBB and Arakaan to fought out a competitive duel with TGBB prevailing 60-51 but it wasn't without it swinging pendulum moments that could of easily given Arakaan victory and the outright lead of the division. Seven winners to five in the end was the deal breaker despite Arakaan nailing his top 4 picks.
But there is also a chance that fourth placed J Shuttlesworth (4-6) can hijack this division from 63rd spot on the CR standings if he can take down BornAgainIdiot this week and have everyone else lose this week but rely on fifth placed Blacky (4-6) who is still a chance also.. to take TGBB down in Week 12.
Blacky on the other hand can do with JShuttlesworth's ideas but will want Smiths to be unsung hero in spoiling JShuttlesworth in week 12 whilst everyone else burns in hell.

Second placed CR Osmodiar & Eq third placed Danielz23 throwing down the challenge to Striker475 (Black Cats 1CR) with a 5CR on NORL.

FOUR NO SHOWS including WADW (in the USA) , ChockNurris, RiggoDiesel44 & BeinPurplenGreen who all get the ROAD TEAM / NORL 1CR.

Throw your low CR away!

Note: Last weeks BufferZone nominations were a staggering 25% successful.. and the ND jury is out on that tie by Zealbee !!
GG.exe pulled off a blinder to take down the ND beastmode who will not be participating in his eighth consecutive play-off series (12-6).

Black Cats gave 18 TICKS in HOT STREAK. NO show in 3XKO.

In the meantime, the JOHN LYNCH Division is ALIVe n' well..

Here's a stat for you all...

AE13 Week 10 I was on 773 - would have been good for first place right now.

That 773 saw me in equal 52nd OVR.

My 781 would have put me in 44th.

(I would have been leading AE15 if I had this score last year too).

In short, WTF is going on??

Incredibly even spread of competition this season means less great teams, less really bad teams, which makes it harder to tip.

Where it's a struggle right now is those sides that are fairly trash. Not the complete garbage of SF, Cleveland, Jacksonville but pretty rubbish yet can still win a couple. The AFCN is the best example of that.

i flipped so many times on this pick. glad its out of the way. so many danger games this week
I found this week incredibly easy to tip, probably means I'll score a 30

Here's a stat for you all...

I got a chestnut stat for you:
This time last season you were 7-3 after week 10. Week 11 opponent: Divisional opponent - BeinPurplenGreen (4-6) .... guess what? He's got the same record this season and yes... he took you down for the count 75-56.

Still got wildcard that time :p
