Last week many play the role of spoilers which reeled in more spoilers for this week. Opening up with 64% in the hunt, we're down to 55% before MNF in the second last week. There are over 80% of the remaining 25 contests yet to be decided with ND Play-Off implications.

Monday Night Dilemma.

Choosing the Texans would give me a likely ND (and Emmitt Smith division clinching) win should they get up, BUT if they lose it probably puts me in the drop zone, puts me behind in my division and puts me behind the Dan Hampton wildcard contender in the race for that solo Al Davis wildcard spot.

Choosing the Raiders means I most likely take the ND loss if the Raiders win, and then I'll have to hope the majority goes with Oakland which keeps me alive in DZE, but I'd still be behind in the wildcard race and my division BUT a Raiders loss gives me a likely ND win as I'm currently ahead.

We've discussed this ad nauseam in years gone by… everyone throwing in their two bobs worth in and it was decided by the AE powers that be that 'auto loss' for default NO SHOWS who didn't pick four HOME teams so the folk in their respective Division / contention opponents will not be disadvantaged…. but in saying that… it's best give the 'opportunity' for a RESULT provided the opponent of the defaultee << (try looking that word up).. can OUTSCORE (including a TIE) the default score of the No Show who is ineligible for the ND Win (and tie for that matter).

Lots of intriguing scenario's.

Considering that swannies thought he was right in the mix for HRS with his 11CR to push past arakaan & Camsmith. But he overlooked Billiever's 14 CR. Anyway, he was legit on the Texans because he has a RUN of SIX consecutive winners in HOT STREAK and dared to take the Texans. (Nobody can stop you from tipping opposite of your CR as it's a separate / uncorrelated comp). So the question begs… did Swannies go HELLBENT on the Texans as his tactic to springboard up the CR standings or was it 'playing the reverse psychology card' for ND?
