The problem is games slow down in the play off's often. What happens when you have Simmons and Claxton in the half court against defences that are scheming for you?

What happens when coaches bring out hack a Ben in the play offs (they will)

Who is stopping Embiid, Giannis (a you pointed out)

Ben looked good in the regular season in Philly, it was the play offs that his weaknesses were exposed.

Beyond the Ben part of the issue you also have

Can KD stay fit? Can Kyrie stay mentally stable? Can Kyrie stay fit, it isn't just off court issues he often misses time with his body. Ben has had body issues, can he stay on the court?

No chance i have them close to title favourites yet.

Looney and green have been part of championship teams.

Simmons and claxton should be fine with the players around them. They do a lot of good things which contribute without scoring.

Simmons free throw action looking alright fwiw.

Kd and irving look hungry and healthy

All true. But kd and Irving are the best mid range shooters in the nba and the gap to #3 is historically large. They can carry Simmons and Claxton when it slows.

They’re a move away but their shot making is obscene.

Now they have Irving and Durant. Probably two of the best ever half court offensive players. So it doesn't matter that he will be useless on offense. They don't need him. You couldn't pick two better players in the league to pair with Simmons. They just need him to play hard on defense, which he always does, and run the ball if they get a rebound.

The foul shooting is a problem and seems to be getting worse. Cleveland would have started fouling him today if he was on the court before Durant fouled out right at the end. But I think the intentional fouling thing is overblown. It doesn't alter the outcome of games very often.

And the problem isn't stopping Embiid or Giannis, as no one can stop those two guys. The issue would be Simmons getting into foul trouble if he is forced to guard them. Hence my suggestion they need to find someone who can play a little bit in those kind of matchups and at least soak up some of the fouls they draw.

Green runs the half court offence regularly, in the Warriors system it works.

Simmons is shooting 48% from the line LOL...

Yes and they always do for periods of time, until they don't.

I disagree, if you have two non shooters on the floor and one in Simmons where you don't even have to respect him on offence it gets incredibly hard. Regular season and play offs are completely different. I think the NBA has more consistent and complete teams that i would bac before the Nets.

Do they need to make a move?

Claxton.
O'neale
Warren.
Curry.
Harris.
Yuta.
Summer.
Thomas.
Mills.
Morris.
Sharpe.

Talent all over the roster.

Another big might be nice but as said above. Might as well wait for a buy out.

Simmons was very close to success with the sixers and all nba player. He should be able make it work with kd and irving around him come crunch time.

Claxton is 23. He may keep improving.

Harris has been going at 50% from 3 last ten games too..

When has KDs production ever slackened?

When has it ever lead to a title not on a stacked team?

He is amazing and playing at an incredible level, i don't doubt he is good enough to win a title.

I doubt that he can do it on that team.

Phwoar Chicago stink.
It's going to get worse before it gets better for Bulls fans (Spurs own their FRP next year I believe)

The Bulls might as well salvage their future by trading LaVine to Lakers for their 2027 and 29 First round picks and get that horrible contract off their books.

I am not sure if the Lakers would be interested in that. If anything the Lakers need to try and turn those picks into 4 or 5 solid players, not just one.

He made GSW better. It was obviously a chicken shit move but he has 2 Finals MVPs.

But I think you're right. They need to make a move.

3&DWade should be back soon
He is injury prone and so is Windler, need to bring in probably 2 wings that can shoot while keeping Wade. Okoro and Stevens get completely ignored and it makes life hard to score inside, hopefully they can be used along with other stuff at the deadline for upgrades. Just need guys that can hit corner 3's to open up the clogged lane
