Warriors could use a boost on defense if Simmons could do what he did against the 76ers in a regular basis and leave the shooting to the others then he’ll be fine.

Right now it is not really working out in Brooklyn.

They are only 3 games behind 2nd place and irving was banned, Simmons looks great and does things that don't show up on the box score, kd will get better. The roster is decent

What does Simmons do that doesn't show up on stats sheet? He's had 2-3 good games.

Irving either does things to get himself missing games or gets injured.

Durant is averaging 28/6/5. He doesn't have that much improvement left in him.

Nets have shown very little to have confidence in their team. Very little to show they can win now.

They have decent role players too in oneale. Yuta. Curry. Claxton. Etc. And could be active trade wise.

We are last in free throw attempts, last in foul differential (4.8, second being 3.1) and last in free throw differential (8.1 per game, second is 5.7 and third is 4.7). We are first in opponents free throws and first in number of fouls.

Not really where you want to be.

The roster is garbage they ain't beating celtics or bucks in a 7 game series.

I don't think they can beat the Cavs either tbh.

The upshot of it is that you're working with five less possessions per game than your opponents. Very difficult to out-execute teams to the degree that can overcome giving up that many extra possessions.

Of course all this comes with a giant asterisk. Your starting five is still kicking bottom, even with Klay's rustiness. It's fixable.
