ok i have digested part of this.

the way i see it, we have a better team than the knicks under mad. surely we cant be worse than when he held the reigns in ny?

The one hope you have is that MDA is a point guard coach who loves a pick and roll, unfortunately he has nfi about defense, which coincidentally is your problem right now

@SpearsNBAYahoo
Mike D'Antoni coached Steve Nash with the Lakers and Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard with USA Basketball.

NEVER COACHED PAU, IT'S ALL OVER FOR THE LAKERS. MOVE THEM BACK TO MINNEAPOLIS!!!

The positive is that he works well with nash and should run the pick & roll a lot more.

He loves the 3 ball, but i don't see the lakers being great in that area.

I didn't see one bit of defense when he was at the Knicks so i don't see that improving.

They got Metta on the wing.... :D

According to that article, Jackson wanted 10-15 mill and the option to skip selected road games as well as having a say in who his replacement would be. No wonder they decided against him.

4 years is a long time though. How long was Brown's contract?
