difference between Kobe and Lebron - with the game on the line today Lebron drives to the hole and dishes, whereas Kobe takes it every time.

obviously a stellar game by Lebron. but this game proves the Magic can allow him to get his way and still win. Orlando just keep suprising me these playoffs. Winning Game 6 in Philly without Dwight, finishing off the Celtics in Game 7 IN Boston, and now beating the Cavs in Game 1 who never lose at home. Respect slowly building...

haha

nice couple of games there. ec and wc

I was thinking Magic in 7 before tonight, I thought Cavs would get this one though.

Had to watch the replay on onehd and loved it when they previewed game 2 half way through the last Q with "Magic win 107-106, game 2 on...blah blah"
So much for avoiding the result and enjoying the game. Still that last shot didn't miss by much!!

!

What the hell was that! Basically avoided human contact to avoid the score today and was quite happy with myself then hear that ad that gave the result away, still was an awesome game to see regardless, but geez that was shthouse.

haha

Imagine the poor bugger who had avoided finding out the result only for that to happen.

Was a good game though, Orlando look likely to cause an upset. Should be two great series.

Damn annoying that's what it was!!

Aha, posted at the same time. Both poor buggers.

OneHD is terrible. I was watching Utah Lakers game 3(i think, where Deron hit the game winner) and during half time they have a sports update and include the final score including the fact that Williams hits the game winner. Made the rest of the game quite boring.

i just saw highlights of the game. wow!!!!!

lol at foxsports report making reference to the cavs dancing around at half time but playing a different tune at FT.

also, is lebron ok? he looked seriously ill at games end whilst on the court. he looked like he was gonna puke and or die.

after the game Lebron said he was not hurt. apparently he just cramped up a lot, and at the end when he dove on the floor i think he cut his leg.

basically he neets to HTFU

oh ok. well i guess we'll never know if had the cavs won would he have been "injured"?

I don't think he was injured.

He simply played the game so hard to make up for his supporting cast playing poorly that he run himself into the ground and was physically exhausted and the blood on the leg would be from the mad scramble for the ball on the court that ended up a jump ball with 1 second left.

He was simply awesome and the rest of the Cavs team should be pretty embarrassed he had to do that much. It was like the Cavs of old.

Thats crap, he lost them the game. They were playing well as a team up until LeHog decided to hold the ball for the first 15 seconds of every possession and jack up a bad shot. I counted about 6 or 7 straight possessions were he just dribbled one-on-one before pulling up for either a three or a contested 20-footer. Occasionally he would pass, but only when time was running out, so it forced his teammates to take quick, ill-advised shots.

It was ugly to watch. And it was exacty what LBJ has been doing for years.

I'm on the other side then.

As far as I'm concerned Lebron's team mates did not provide options or create space for him to do anything but shoot with time running down as they were stagnant and did look like they wanted to take shots.
Lets be honest though, he should never had kicked it to West in the corner. He should have taken it upon himself to go for the win.

Thats the difference between LeBron and Kobe. Kobe is a winner. LeBron next time wont be passing it off thats for sure and he shouldnt. There is none better then LeBron at taking it to the basket, maybe Wade.

Im with PHX on this. Not Lebrons fault his teammates decided to watch a gane of basketball rather than play in it

Its up to the guy holding the ball to call the offense. During that "run", he didnt call for any screens, pick and rolls, cutters, nothing. He just stood there, going one on one.

Williams called for the ball multiple times to try and set something up, but LBJ refused to pass the ball to him. He can be a damn selfish player, which is disappointing because I thought he was over that sort of play.
