Yeah, sure. It wasn't just his honest appraisal of a pair of arrogant Mancs who'd dissed his band in the press, was it

True, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

Your worse then Oasis for ripping other people off, how many times have we heard that over the last few years.

As i said, It's a myth that has been repeated enough times that it now is accepted as Fact.

Jay Darlington is the touring organ player and keyboardist for Oasis and has been doing the duties since 2002.

Is nicknamed Jesus for his inanimate manner.

Noel Gallagher has some hilarious comments on the Lord Don't Slow Me Down commentary DVD section on Jay.

Gandalf. Hahaha. I laughed very hard when i heard Noel say that about him.

When you sell 50 million copies worldwide you can be as arrogant as you want. Just please go away. Oasis fans are enjoying a nice discussion. You don't need to go out of your way to annoy us. Cheers buddy.:):thumbsu:

I know that's what you were referring to. What's your point? He called them out of their bullshit, and everything he said is true. Just because you don't know what pernicious means, doesn't mean the guy isn't spot on.
Now who is being arrogant? You don't need to be so condescending all of the time. And Oasis let everybody know that living life, and having fun is cool. It's a shame that these young indie kids don't quiet understand it. And maybe you should listen to Defnitely Maybe, and appreciate it for what it is.

And i know what it means buds.

Which myth is that? The myth that the Gallagher brothers possess even a semblance of talent? Well yeah, there's a good reason why that's accepted as fact.

No thanks.

And that being an ignorant, brain-dead douchebag is "cool". Wow, what an awesome legacy and a great message for young people.

Omg mate. I actually feel sorry for you now. You just don't understand how stupid what you're saying is. You are just going around in circles.

If you knew anything about Oasis you would know that Noel can basically destroy anybody. He has been dubbed the wisest man in Rock n Roll by many magazines. Liam was voted 7th on a witbrit poll and Liam doesn't compare to Noel in terms of wit and intelligence.

Answer me this, have you heard Morning Glory and Definitely Maybe. I know that you listened to DBTT once and didn't give the songs a go. But you cannot judge a band based on one listen. So get listening you idiot.

Hows this one for talent you sad pathetic man with no understanding of music and it's history. How would you rate this performance.

Haha, yeah, if the press said it it must be true.

Oh cool, now you've dropped to the name-calling stage. Why so defensive?

And what d'you mean "didn't give the songs a go"? You want me to re-listen to something that was incredibly boring and bland the first two times I subjected myself to it? Surely you're joking.

Finding Oasis sleep-inducing and mediocre means I have no understanding of music? If anything, it shows the opposite; I have enough understanding of it to recognising simplistic garbage when I hear it.

What d'you find so amazing about that Youtube clip? I'm honestly interested to know what you get out of that when you listen to it. Because all I hear is a couple of acoustic guitar chords repeated ad nauseum (5, to be precise; wow, what a talent he is to learn so many chords), a dude singing an almost monotone "melody", and some cheesy-sounding string backing. That's the kind of music you find so appealing? If so, to quote you, "I actually feel sorry for you now".

Ohh so for music to be good a henrix type solo is a must. That doesn't constitute good music mate. If you want contrived artificial music thats made by computers good for you (i am NOT baggin hendrix btw). This song is music made by humans to appeals to humans. And for you to call Mr. Liam Gallagher monotone really proves how stupid you are. Liam has been hailed as the greatest rock n roll singer to emerge from the last 35 years mate.

We will not agree. You just don't quiet understand the Oasis dynamic, and refuse to listen to DM and WTSMG. And you must really hate The Sex Pistols if chords are all you care about.

Not necessarily good, no. But at least it's interesting.

Computers? That's an odd tangent.

And again you turn media hype into fact. "I read it in a magazine, it must be true!"

Re: Great live performances here.

Well, TBH, I'm not such a big live performances person. The studio output of bands is always more alluring, IMO.

However, one legendary live band would be The Stooges, featuring Iggy Pop. I decided to add this one, as apparently it depicts him smearing peanut butter over himself and I know that it depicts him hopping into the crowd with people going "Are you all right?!". :D

I believe that the 'peanut butter' part is still one of rock's defining images (although The Stooges themselves heavily influenced punks).
