do yours swim? Mundy is like a labrador! we live near the river and he jumps in evenon a cold day. Fyfe just glares at him with a "wtf are you doing?!?" He only goes in if it's calm, a warm day, and there's a female dog involved lol
Rufus the westie can swim ..but normally only goes in up to his little legs.
If I'm catching a few waves with the 2labs.
Rufus follows us up and down beach with the odd woof woof.
Loves playing and jumping in and around the rock pools.

My two are so drawn to climbing over rocks - I guess that stems from what they were bred for in the Highlands

❤how they sleep.
Mr Boat still in great shape 2.5 years on.
No Chew marks still sea worthy.
My boys still have their car beds from Kmart but have outgrown them - the cats also try to steal them. was the boat bed also a Kmart one?

they also have these that can be used as beds, or so they can see in the car

Worst night ever last night, thought the youngest of the three cats (9 months old) had somehow got out the back door. Turned the house upside down looking for her. Spent at least two hours walking the streets, then sat out the back with food for half an hour. No sign of her. Finally gave up and ate and was going to bed when I went back into one bedroom to turn the lights off and I hear this tiny meow. Somehow she'd got herself trapped in a clothes draw! Scared the shit out of us when we thought she was gone.

one of ours got themselves locked in the linen closet, that was a mess

We lost a cat young "Boots" I took to the vets no carrier was just in my arms.
A a lady dog barked at him and he took off.
Spend good part of a week + looking for him .
Posters up knocked on heaps of doors ...

Heard someone had a boy cat same markings was run over and lost his leg .

What ever happened to him I hope he had a good life was a really sweet boy.

His mum cat passed last year.

We had a cat go missing for two weeks. He was wearing a tag with our phone number (pre microchips). Finally someone rang and we got him back. She said she had been leaving food for him but couldn’t catch him.

He went missing again a few years later. We could hear him yowling but couldn’t locate him. Finally a woman popped her head over the fence to ask if the cat up on her roof was ours. We had to get a ladder and entice him, which took bloody ages. He was a bit of a terror, a real alpha-cat.

The whole reason I got a cat enclosure build so cats wouldn't go missing ,,was the plan anyway.
One of the lovely (not) neighbours got a cat trap for Dexter who was super friendly not super street smart she would of fell for it easy.
Was pretty much at start of the crack down on cats out and about.
When I went to get from the pound the ranger didn't mince her words "you'll get a fine and court if she's caught out again".
Ok I'll do something about it ...but even to this day I see cats out side at night .

Betty loves going out to the cat enclosure EPs in the warmer months.
Betty got street smarts not friendly to strangers.

one of ours just got back from the vet and now we wait for the specialist appointment

poor thing has a ruptured ear drum and a lump
