Sad to say it's kinda relevant - I'm not bying into the club is in crisis malaky but there are challenges for everyone at Melboune. The way I read the presser today he is taking the money and walking away when it's too hard (hence the it's been a difficult year line he gave when it wasn't relevant) but the one person who has a perfectly good reason to walk away still doesn't for the club sake despite the detriment of himself and then gets lied to like everyone else and not even a phone call .....sorry but it dosent sit well with me.

OK so he hadnt made his decision then all of a sudden he gets offered an extra year an its a done deal... Rubbish mate...

Believe what you want - you will anyway, but there was no need to play out the game all last week. He's probably looking at both offers all last week with his eyes constantly going back to the $$$ amount on the GWS one so when they add the extra year it seals the deal. Everyone has their price and GWS kept at it until they found his, probably last Thursday or Friday.

I still think he's a scum sucking pig and can only hope those bung knees get worse, but I don't buy into all this conspiracy crap and won't unless some proof is offered.

Good riddance. Too slow, too small, dodgy knees not a team player. He would have hurt our club if he stayed. He would have cost to much for a third year player and we would have to lose someone eventually.

I unfortunately ( in this era of the game) would tell my son to do exactly the same as Tom has done, I'm not saying it is right, it is just a reality that these days loyalty is simply just another word, for us who have never played at the ultimate level it is hard to understand how a guy who has been given an opportunity to do so can choose to play for another team...

Was there more to it than this though? At the presser there was a bit of talk about something more sinister than that on top of the sister thing.

Anyway, the club better view this as the time to stand up. I'm sick of the Dees basically being the skinny kid at the beach and the AFL and all the other clubs kicking sand in our faces.

**** him guys. He was always gone and didn't show any commitment to this wonderful club. Listening to him speak about a new challenge and such was vomit inducing - hard to seek a new challenge when your career is 31 games old you money hungry crunt.

I simply cannot wait until we play them next year and I hope like hell we get them at the G, although I highly doubt Vlad will allow that to happen. I'm tempted to fly up to Sydney for that game just to boo the shit out of him.
