They are paying big money to Lee, Bogut, Curry and Jefferson. Why would they take on a oft-injured SG on a max deal when they have a starting quality SG on the second year of a rookie deal? Makes no sense whatsoever. Barnes they could deal, but Klay is a keeper. I just don't see NOLA getting a huge haul back for Gordon.
Jeffersons contract has to be apart of that deal. We'll be asking the world for Gordon

Jefferson has a player option for next season.

Doesn't stop him being traded this season?

No, but I would have thought the attraction of Richard Jefferson at this point of his career was that he is an expiring deal. I'd be mortified if the Wolves had to pay him $11m next season. And there's no way he's opting out.

I wonder what the Wiz are asking for Crawford... whether we would be interested (or had anything to offer) is another question, but as a 2 guard leading the second unit he could help

Thibs and Crawford together would be an interesting experiment, to say the least..

Reading between the lines from Washington, they seem to think Crawford is a bit of Maggette-type, numbers over wins, etc. He does have talent though, and should be dirt-cheap in the short-term. Can't imagine the Wiz will ask for too much in return..

Al Jefferson to the Spurs is a scary proposition; can't believe its not getting more coverage - much more viable/bigger deal than Garnett to Clippers, Rondo/Howard swap etc.

Not sure what San Antonio can offer (Splitter, picks?) but I hope Patty gets thrown in as steak knives - hopefully he can thrive in the league's worst backcourt.

Jefferson
Duncan
Leonard
Green
Parker

Ginobli Neal Jackson Diaw

Ouch.

Talk of Beldsoe/Millsap... Makes sense for Utah, not so much for the Clips at this stage
Not understanding where this talk comes from. It's just not going to work. Clips need to add a filler, and would have to be either Butler or Jordan and I cannot see that happening at all. Straight up, I don't like it for Utah though, I don't think Bledsoe is a starting PG

Magic have everyone on the block....just FYI.

Redick would be the most desireable for a contender. Perfect 6th man, no mistakes, smart and quick fire offense. Imagine we'd be after young pieces/picks.

Anyone willing to take Hedo or Harrington or Fat will be offered head...by me.

Yeah, the report says there is merely a "level of mutual interest" in exploring a deal that would feature these players, so more guys would be involved.

This 'pick one' situation between Jefferson/Millsap is interesting for Utah...Looks like they've settled on Big Al and I think they've made the right choice since they need his interior scoring. For all of Favors' potential and activity around the basket, he just isn't much of an offensive threat right now.
Of course, Jefferson would benefit from having outside shooters around him. Bledsoe doesn't help in that regard but he'd still be good for Utah, given that they're relying on Tinsley/Watson at the moment (although I'm also not convinced he's a long-term starter at PG).

Trade to the Clips would be frustrating for Millsap...for so many years he was stuck behind Jefferson and now the same is gonna happen in LA.

Yeah, probably third. Although with Monroe, while he's been playing well lately his start to the year was a bit underwhelming. All to do with expectations I guess.
Yeh agreed. Ive got him in my fantasy team and ive noticed the difference. Hes still very inconsistant also. Some games he just beasts its and others he shoots 3-13 and cant even get a board.

If Harkless or anyone one of our potential young'uns gets traded, I will kill a man.
