So all you haters out here on Bigfooty, think the Spurs are old, slow, boring and have no chance of winning the championship this year.

Well I beg to differ. I bet you are all jealous of the success they have had in recent times, and with their talented roster of Timmy D, Manu, Tony Parker, Bowen, plus the older players who turn it on when it counts in Robert Horry, Brent Barry, Michael Finley, I dare say the Spurs will win the championship again.

Seriously who is going to beat them? Dallas are overated. Phoenix have a good side, but their style of basketball will crumble under the pressure of a final. Lakers meh. Id say the best bet is Utah. However what are the chances of Boozer and AK47 still being fit come the playoffs?

Eastern Conference is so crap it doesnt rate a mention.

Yes the Spurs are very good and could win the Championship, but the 15 games they get on ESPN per month could put you to sleep.

I don't think people are disputing that SA are one of the best, they simply don't find them exciting to watch

Well they were never better than the Suns 2 seasons ago in the WC Final.

The only reason the Suns lost that series was the abscence of the absolute star Joe Johnson.

Made a massive difference, we probably would've won in 5 had he been playing.

If you like basketball then you cannot find the spurs boring. They run their offense pretty much perfectly everytime. If you actually watch off the ball, everyone is moving with a purpose to the offense as a whole. I would rather watch the spurs anyday then watch one guy shooting everything and 4 other lakers getting ready for defense.

Howard looks to be a player. However, he has a hell of a long way to before he achieves even half of what Duncan has.
