I dare say most did with Neuer and Lewandowski...

Neuer had more than 15 caps for Germany at the time and Lewandowski had 74 League goals for Dortmund in 131 games.

I mean Neuer cost them €30m… but don’t forget Goretzka was free, Gnabry was cheap, Süle only €20m.

For some reason I thought he was a Free.

They did get Nübel on a free last summer

There was huge opposition to Neuer from the Bayern ultras in 2011 with the transfer interestingly enough, due to him mocking the celebration of Oli Kahn and kicking down the corner post in a game in 2009 when 04 won 1:0… pretty much the loss that saw Wolfsburg win the title. They even said that he should never kiss the Bayern crest or approach the ultras after games

It's a good strike but surely the keeper has to save that. It has soooo far to travel.
Hard to see but if the ball was moving like crazy in the air then how can you blame the keeper.

Looked like some dip at the end but it certainly didn’t seem like it was moving around all that much.

I watched it again and the goal keeper stays completely still until the ball has travelled about half the distance from when he kicked it to the goal. If he had just started moving across when he sees where its heading, he could have just caught it.

Weidenfeller disagrees with you.

Frank Worthington passed away. Long successful career. Most famous goal was for Bolton against Ipswich.. a cracker.

Is a Leicester legend, Frank.

There’s some great yarns about him from his exploits in the 70’s...

Lets just say the rumours sweeping the UK is that he's going down the same path as Dean/Dani Laidley.

Has to be one of the dumbest rumour I've ever seen.
