And that's why I don't see it being similar to us to be honest.

He's just throwing money around trying to recreate something that was far more organic in its inception.

Boehly seems the kind of person where time is money and you can try and buy everything you want with that money.

This down turn of fortunes would be the perfect opportunity to bring some youth team players in for game time in this system.

Have any of them been getting a game in the PL lately?

You always seem to be up there in youth competitions.

Colwill has been excellent btw.
I guess we'll just have to see once it's all organised, bit early to say it's never going to work. Haven't even started yet.

Playing the youf hasn't been a big issue for us for a few seasons now. Mount and James are two of our best players. Guys like Chalobah, Broja, Gallagher and Hall are getting games while Chuk and Hutchinson will also in the 2nd half of the seaon.

Yeah I've been watching Colwill the last few games and he'll be ready for us next season(and we need some good young CBs). Very excited by him.

I don't know why you're so bent out of shape over this.

They've brought in Fofana already this window, and there'll be others to follow, who are following this new model of buying the players before they cost insane amounts. They still need a ready made first team player who can step in at a fair price which they view Fernandez at, as he's very young and playing very well. Like you did with Estupinan. I don't know why you keep pointing to that deal as if it shatters any aspect of your own operations.
Fofana, Santos and Badiashile.

Don't know that you can fight for a title and flip players for profit like Brighton do at the same time.

To increase value, you need to provide opportunity to play, and when you're giving younger, cheaper players with potential the opportunity to play you don't always get consistency in performances and results.

And if you want to win things consistency is key.

We aren't winning anything though.

Let's be realistic.

It's wage structures that truly make the biggest difference and we'll never be a club who pays huge wages.

Fulham and Forest pay more in wages than we do.

That's my point. Chelsea could do what Brighton do, but I don't think they could do that and challenge for trophies at the same time.

And for most young up and coming players you'd probably say a club like Brighton will offer more opportunities to play than someone like Chelsea or us can afford to give.

I was watching the Wellington vs Sydney highlights earlier and was taken aback that the commentor, after Sydney missed two penalties in the space of a minute, tried to do an Anthony Hudson - “I see it but I don’t believe it.” 😂

Watching the game i thought our fans made a lot of noise and kept the atmosphere going even when it all turned to s**t. Though i'm not a fan of the Roman singing, we are always going to sing about Super Tommy Tuchel in a game against City for obvious reasons.
Not only for that reason but I’d suspect because he is better than potter. Just didn’t see eye to eye with the board and them obviously not giving tuchel what he wanted.

Is that why he couldn't beat Potter in four of their last five meetings?

He just happened to beat pep in a champions league final.

Are you trying to tell me that Potter is better than tuchel because he has beaten him more times head to head?

Because if that is your theory then you wouldn’t argue that ole is better than pep because head to head it’s ole 4 pep 3 with 1 draw.
