Ahem

How. Good. Am. I.
Picked it almost to the day.

I think its a great time as a politician to not be in power. Next three years will be a shitshow.

It wouldn’t surprise me if out of the blue MacGowan in WA announces he wants out unexpectedly in next 12 months.

I'm going to Perth next month for work, been a few years, I quite like Perth
Same I went in 2010 for a week during school holidays. Had a lovely time over there, saw Geelong lose by 7 pts to Freo and flew back with the team.

Does anyone have an opinion on the cheaper main part of Maylands, wanted to live along the Inglewood border but atm it would be a budget stretch.

And the right type of places rarely come up.
Reckon I would be fine with living there. Close to train line and city and lots of good cafes/resteraunts down the strip.

You move away from the train line out of walking distance pretty though being on a peninsula is a bit inconvenient for getting around.

River is nice though and seems like decent locals.

Partners birthday this week and has requested Thai/Asian cuisine for birthday dinner.

Any recommendations?

Can't go wrong with either of those 2. Ask for their banquet option at either and chefs will do the rest for you.

Make sure you book though, hard to get a walk in at either usually

Highly recommend Baan Baan.

Not your normal Thai restaurant menu with a fair bit of street food influence.

Which place did you end up going with RU_ ?
Kitsch.

Good food for the most part, service was also great.

Did send some feedback as they asked for it, we ordered 4 dishes and one of them was bad. Sticky beef was dry and burnt tasting. They responded saying it’s a new kitchen staff but have passed the message on.
