Perth is tomorrow for me.

Last time I was there:

Woosha was West Coast's coach.
I was given a crash course on the Wizard of Schnoz in 2012.
The Burswood stadium wasn't even thought of. (Hopman Cup might've been played on that site.)
Harbour Town was the fashion shopping centre.
Jack Darling, Andrew Gaff, Nathan Fyfe and Michael Walters were young players.
Andrew Embley and Adam Selwood were still playing.
Dom Sheed was a year away from being picked up.
Hayden Young, Caleb Serong and Bailey Williams were in primary school.
Enjoy the weather. 🌞🌞🌞

I think that was a year before the Burswood dome was demolished which is where the Hopman cup used to be played. Its just more carparking for the casino complex now.

Anyone going to the cricket tomorrow arvo?

Another great bit of scheduling by Cricket Australia with the game on a Tuesday starting at 4pm.

No doubt the media will be up in arms when no one turns up.

We need a bunch of the big deciduous trees that are found all through cities like Berlin and Hamburg, our canopy is shit.

So lush in the summer and they let the sunlight through in the winter

Kintail rd is the only place i can think of that has them

Who actually orders a ham and cheese toastie from the canteen for lunch, though?

No one. My canteen hasn't sold them for years.

It's overblown and it makes sense because - let's face it - processed meat is not as good as the actual real thing. This is not in dispute, surely.

Unless things have changed a lot, don't most people still just bring their own food. Or once they get into the later years of high school just go to Maccas or the like?

Also correct.

The readers of the Sunday Times moan about ham not being sold every day at the canteen, but don't think twice about sending their kids to school with some salt and vinegar chips and a Monster (wish I was making this up).
