thx 4 ur opinion. i would prefer murphy+thompson as well but the thing is i hav the other combination so if i wanted this murphy+thommo duo it wuld cost me 2 trades
i say give Dyson another week; if his price looks to increase after price change, you'll make some money and can trade him off if you want.

Matthew Stokes or Shannon Grant

lookin to replace waite with one of these 2 who would u choose??

Re: Matthew Stokes or Shannon Grant

Convince me ppppllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaassssseeeeee :)

Ok well R Murphy can play both a forward type role or a running half back type role. Both positions have potential to be great for racking up dreamteam points.

Murphy is a great lead up player in the forward line and gets good delivery most of the time, so he takes alot of marks and pretty much always kicks the proon, which is what you want. Not only that but Murphy is a known goal kicker and isn't a stranger to kicking bags of 3-5 goals.

When he plays down back, he has potential for more possessions and this can result in more dreamteam points. However playing down back means he wont be kicking many goals.

So its a win win situation really for Murphy.

However be conscious that Murphy is injury prone (kind off).

Plus he is underprised IMO at 301 grand, so get on him before he rises in prise

Re: Matthew Stokes or Shannon Grant

Definetly Stokes hands down - the fact that he plays at geelong will ensure 70+ each week and he should bob up for the odd 100

Re: Matthew Stokes or Shannon Grant

I'm in this same situation, except I'm using Davey instead of Waite.

I'm dumping Davey because I want no Melbourne players and he will drop amazingly in price next week. Playing the Cats he won't score much at all.

I've got $375,500 but with many other problems that I need cash for eg, Coughlan, Lovett-Murray was ruled out this week with a groin.

I'm lost with what to do, I've already got Murphy and Hill, Thompson so I don't wan't Grant.

I've narrowed it down to O'Keefe (won't have much cash) and Stokes (need Geelong players)

Have no clue what to do. Should I keep Davey and risk the price drop (how is he in anyway, his ankle!) or trade. I'll have 17 left.

Downgrading LeCras to either Hill vs Gamble.
Keep in mind bulldogs play Stkilda and Geelong play the Dees.
Tough to call. Both showed immense talent in the NAB cup, and are continuing on that good form. My only concern with Gamble is that with some of Geelong's players coming back into the side he may be squeezed out, but on the Geelong board the general consensus seems to be that he will hold his spot for the time being.
It's a tough choice.

Get on Stokesy. Clubs will show him no respect, as they focus on Ablett, Bartel, Chapman, Corey and Selwood. Stokes will go on his merry way.
