Semantics. I have recently witnessed the exact opposite of that which you have pontificated. The individual has the power to accuse you of anything they like, and when they sign on the dotted line, you will be investigated, possibly arrested and jailed (if you refuse to answer questions without your lawyer being present), even if the accusations are complete fantasy. That equates to the individual having the power to bear the law enforcement powers of the state down on someone else...wouldn't you agree?

No the individual cannot "press charges". The individual can make accusations and the state lays charges, and the state can face compensation claims for false charges. The person making the accusations can face perjury charges.

You also cannot "drop charges" after a payment as you claimed. Only the state can dismiss charges.

I have many reasons- not just one as to why I think port are shit - I did not base my opinion on one game - you have used 1 win against West Coast to claim the opposite and request " congrats"

You don't need to be a Port supporter to be called a front runner. You only need to be around and very vocal about a certain topic when things are going your way and absent when said topic could be disputed. You were in here after our Melbourne game saying how shit our list is, and that you'd formed that opinion based on our 2012 and apparently that game seeing as that was the moment you decided to let us know. I tried to explain that predicting the potential of our list based on those things is silly because a lot has changed and that particular game couldn't possibly showcase our structures and player improvement because of all the elements missing. You said those things don't matter to you and that our list is still shit.

The West Coast game happened, where Port showed it's new structures playing a near full strength side against another near full strength and quality opponent. The new gameplan held up considerably well and there was considerable improvement shown by a lot of our list that could be clearly seen, given the feedback from neutrals on the main board and articles written.
I figured (stupidly I admit) that seeing as you are a proclaimed expert on our list that you would have seen this and was very stupidly expecting some form of acknowledgement in the form of maybe a congratulations or a well done, which was totally my mistake. But no, our list is still abominably shit despite what everything else is saying and I should buckle down for a disappointing season, right? I mean, why didn't I see it, seeing as everyone is in here agreeing with you.
