Looks like I found myself a new job! Maybe I haven't told them enough that I'm an accountant.Dockers are looking for one too.
Got rid of Titus O'Reily on twitter. He is pretty meh for a smart satirical writer.
And where do you think the money is going to come from to replace the lost tax revenue?the corporate tax rate for small business just dropped 2.5%
Oi! Positivity and derr... Malcolm's tree of course...And where do you think the money is going to come from to replace the lost tax revenue?
is this a serious question? um in personal tax by the shareholders who are 99.9% australian owned (this is small business not asx listed or big corporates with overseas offices and foreign owners who can shift profits off shore). you know mums and dads who then have to pay every cent in personal tax that employees also have to pay. Now i can actually afford another admin assistant I've been needing and will have the few extra 1000 a month to pay for (and they will pay personal tax on that). You understand? in a 'closed loop' of Australian small business owned by Australian tax payers with Australian employees the govt does not lose tax revenue. Simples. But thanks for the media spin. And where do you think the money is going to come from to replace the lost tax revenue?
Yeah I am sure every small business will use the tax break to employ more workers... I can't believe I didn't consider it.is this a serious question? um in personal tax by the shareholders who are 99.9% australian owned (this is small business not asx listed or big corporates with overseas offices and foreign owners who can shift profits off shore). you know mums and dads who then have to pay every cent in personal tax that employees also have to pay. Have a read of this if you have a few minutes.I remember reading in a thread somewhere that the odds of starting 0wen2 are crazy to just make the finals.
I really hate the hawks and swans so i am feeling positive
So by post round 3 we'll probably have a 2.8% chance we'll make the finals... I like those oddsHave a read of this if you have a few minutes.

Bit like Rio and their flood of commercials before the election about putting jobs before taxes then 3 days before the election, when they were confident of the polls, bam, another wave of sackings. Now they are even talking about giving the Indians the remote monitoring (off-site) work. Talk about media spin.
Anyhow, I realize there is a big difference between large and small business and I've gone off track a little. Good on you for utilising the reform for the purpose it is intended but don't expect me to believe every small business like yours will do the same.
Hey I'm pocketing the 2.5% to use on hookers and coke - doing my part to support local industryYeah I am sure every small business will use the tax break to employ more workers... I can't believe I didn't consider it.
