Here is my real positive spins:

Comparing to this time last year we lost to the Saints and lost/won to the bottom team by a point but then improved immensely from there .
Eerily similar

Sonny has still got some spark

Jacksons work around the ball is decent and he can’t keep dropping marks all year surely?

Omeara is slow as f* but he pushed forward and kicked goals when needed

Serong has been poor lately but that kid has got Cotchin/ Selwood vibes of head over it and leadership and will be pissed off with his performance so I’m backing him in


And finally and most importantly- I’m not microwaving my phone/beanie because the umpiring in the first 10 minutes was disgraceful so I’m giving us the benefit of the doubt for this first couple of goals that should have been ours ( we didn’t deserve to win but I hate seeing momentum sapped from a team by poor umpiring)

So despite all my shitcanning I will be at the Derby next week hoping and screaming like hell that we destroy those flogs and get the club back on track
