Well the front of the building looks bloody amazing.
I was part of a group Richo was talking to about the reno. They are trying to offer something different than all of the local pubs to get people through the door. Im looking forward to a few summer days at the bar watching the AFLW.

Ha well there you go. I’ve watched about 30 seconds of AFLW. That’s not the normal season is it, why have they changed it?

The blokes only play 3 night games a week so the girls aren't going to all of a sudden play 9. Broadcasters want weekend content, with minimal clashes.

A few years back I went on the Indian Pacific to Perth. We stopped in Cook in the middle of the day and the temperature was pushing 50. That night we stopped at Rawlinna and the temperature was still in the 40s. A number of the Poms on board couldn't understand how it could be still so hot if the sun had set.

I remember doing a "hike to a hilltop tribe" in Thailand and 2 Pommie girls complaining that they weren't told it would be so hilly.

Was in Thailand years ago, went to see a snake show, which was amazing, they let me get in the cage with a king cobra, walked up to about a metre away from it and took photos. The snake handlers were a bit impressed I reckon. Or they just hid their amusement/disbelief at my audacity/stupidity. Girlfriend was NOT happy, but whatever.

Anyway, similar situation, pommy women 25-35, freaked out big time, as they were all obviously petrified of snakes. Tour operator explained in very reasonable English that the tickets had SNAKE SHOW written clearly on them. Which just caused them to unload about being 'ripped off' and 'set up'. As they had been extremely rude and were storming out yelling abuse and threats, I pulled one of the tour operators aside and 'accidentally' told them that the poms needed directions to Phuket Town, which is the opposite direction of Patong Beach. Good times

I was 'all in' for a summer game. Need a break from footy after finals.
