Ben Hackett, still waiting for the Xavs to come good with the job promised to him before the season. Oh yeah, they came up with a 'great job' in the insurance game...jobs for nuffies.
Mark 'Heebie' Graham, went to the Xavs for ''an easy flag", will he go on next year?
Scotty 'Moldini' Mollard, challenged OH coach Nicko to a biff during the last quarter of the GF...nothin wrong with that!
Tim Fleming, not half the talent of his cousin, mad Marcus Olive.
Will Jars do another Mick Blood to OC...'Ill be back next year, I promise'.
Is there any chance James Heritage will play for the Lions ever?
Is it true George Haros is coming out of retirement for the poos?
Will Uni Blacks poach another 10 players from other ammo teams over the Summer?
Will Scribe 2 ever post on BF again?
Do the good lads of NOBS/COBS still stalk B Section scribe Tom Brain...less?
How far away are Ivanhoe Assumption from oblivion?
Will Richmond Centrals dissappear because of their heads up their arse attitude, or will Sholly come true on his promise to relegate them to Division 3 of FIDA?
Will St Bernards stop poaching Rupertswood, Strathmore and PEGS players and breed their own?
Has Dean Rice got over his recent health scares and will he coach again at OMs?
Why did the Scotch Captain get dropped on finals eve?
Is Barry Price on the pension?
Will Dave Murray coach the Vic Under 23 Team back to glory next year?
Is there going to be another mass exodus of SKOB players over the Summer?
Will Dom Dunne leave Mazenod and go to Coburg under the Andy Collins spell?
How do young players get sucked in by Andy Collins' b u l l s h i t that he speaks and why do they go and play VFL reserves when the AFL listed guys will always get a game first? Why do young men of the VAFA give up the most important years of their footy life for this s h i t??????????????????
Any other vitally important ammo q's on this thread?

Can anybody confirm/deny that all is not well down at K2 Stadium in Camberwell?

Anybody jumping ship over the off-season?

Barry Price has applied for the pension and Robert Gross is putting in for the top gig, although everyone knows he wont get the job!!!

Definitely some senior OS players including a skipper , and onballer, a key forward have walked out. As many as a dozen senior and senior fringe players may have walked out. A couple are rumoured to be heading to the two OC's in c grade, and maybe some to Balwyn. Remember though that some wounds can be healed. I doubt however that the first three mentioned will return and the two OC's will benefit from this

Old Carey will be very strong in C next year.

I was in the same grade as Old Carey, and would have put them as competitive in C grade, but not very strong.. maybe 4-6. If they do pick up the two players i have heard, then maybe 2-5. What makes you say they will be very strong? I was actually leaning slightly towards the other OC.

They have a fair few ex 'old boys' at other A and B clubs who have committed to join them in they made it to C, probably 8 to 10 regular A grade and B grade specialists. I am sure they will also cast the net, have also heard Tom Roach a definate if he doesnt get another chance at AFL level. Also their school has some talented lads...

Saw James Jorgensen in Bay St Brighton last night in his new hot dog van. He tells me that the business is "killing it" and that he intends to donate $thousands to improving the facilities at Collegians' Harry Trott oval including new changerooms, re-surfacing the oval and providing all the hot-food for the canteen free of charge.

Bodes well for the Lions ability to attract new players for the hard slog in A Section next season.

James should be commended on this kind gesture.

Thanks Bob,

if that were the case i would then pen them in as 1-2, however know with our club and many others including Old Carey that many rumours dont eventuate. I do have no doubt that best and fairest winners Kent and Evans will be back but they will still miss Parton who i understand is end of year at best. Players of the calibre of North, Roach, ? K McGuiness, etc all would change this very quickly , but who knows what six months down the track holds for them. Hopefully we will join them in c in 2008

No one should complain about what you said on the D4 thread about Richmond, I played against them twice this year and both times we won by over 20 goals. After a while it is not enjoyable playing against teams like that.

I like what you have started Bob Down

Thanks for the support my dearest, I hate people who settle for mediocrity and RC seem to be in that boat.

SMG, is Jorga wearing his hot dog outfit? Any chance the donated $$$ could go to the pretty blonde in the tuckshop at the Trott for a boob job?..she is a special.

Can say hands down that Keiran McGuiness is not and would not even think of heading to Old Carey. A nice dream for you lads but in reality he wont consider it. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Dont think either of the chaps discussing this are from Old Carey, so no bubble has been burst. Kids like KM, Roach, Jackson etc and any other recently delisted AFL players who went to Carey would be very unlikely to play Ammos IMO. Very hard for kids who would have had dreams of making AFL a career (and a very lucarative one) going back to play for nothing. So many other leagues and comps would be their first port of call.
More likely to come back to Carey when they are 28-30 plus and have had a crack at making solid coin.

I had heard also that Chard is looking eleswhere...again. You think the guy would grow up but he always seems to put himself on the market at the end of each season. How could St Kev's name him as a DVC if he is like that? Obviously has no loyalty and likes playing games to make himself feel more important. He is obviously not a leader, if he was he would lead the St Kevins back to an A Grade powerhouse.
Better news is the Xavvers have re-appointed Bazza for next season, I'm sure he will lead us back to the promised land.

Bigfootyfan, you need to read more carefully. I am not from Old Carey. Am simply curious asto statements others have made- and stated that many rumours do not eventuate. I agree with the later post by monkeyboy, that players of this calibre are extremely unlikely to head to the ammos whilst they are still in early 20s and will prob wait until 28-30.

Very harsh, Chardy receives many calls from clubs, as do most State CHF's, but has remained loyal to SKOB. No reason why that will change. You OX people need to stay in your clique and try to convince Heebie Graham to stay on for his 'easy' premiership.

Please never mention Chard in the same breath as Graham ever again.
