Just wondering who would be the quickest players in the AFL in these distances, If they aren't measured in any of these distances please ignore them lol.

20m
50m
100m
400m
1km
3.2km

I can imagine that Deladio and Judd are probably still high up.

Houli, Stanton and Hocking are good in the 3.2 for Essendon.
Ryder and Winderlich are good in the 100m.
Courtney Dempsey is our quickest over 20m apparently but I would imagine that Davey, Jetta and Atkinson would be close to him.

Armfield and Benjamin are probably quicker then the Fev over 20 meters. Armfield is super super quick and easily outran pearce yesterday on a number of occasions.

Forgot about Benjamin. You're still wrong though, despite his extreme pace over 100m Fev is still much faster over 20m. But Benjamin would probably be quickest over 50m and 100m but he hasn't debuted yet so imo he doesn't count.

Armfield, while quick, isn't quicker than Fev over 20m or Judd over 50m+

Tim Clarke would murder anyone/everyone in the AFL in any half decent marathon run Too bad he's a bit of a spud player, Kinda like how Walker from Fremantle was an elite australian 100m sprinter, nearly internationally standards, but was just an honest player at best

Rioli maybe, s the quickest at hawthonr, i think his silky skills makes him look better athleticly then he actually is, hes still carrying a bit of baby fat.

when Matty Campbell was drafted A. Jarman who had coached him said he'd had Alwyn Davey and I can't remember the other player underneath him and said he thought Campbell was quicker than them both. I can't find the article which was on Sportal somewhere. If he isn't the quickest in the league he would be damn close.......

This is a rough guess without knowing what times these guys run:

20m - Brent Staker
50m - Brent Staker
100m - Brent Staker
400m - Chris Masten
1km - Tim Houlihan/Chris Masten
3.2km - Tim Houlihan

Staker according to reports around 2005/2006 was the 2nd quickest over 40m at WC to Judd.

Chris Masten was a junior national champion in 400m, 800m and 1500m - but gave up athletics at 14: http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,21971932-23211,00.html

Tim Houlihan recorded the fastest time in draft camp history in the 2006 AFL Draft Camp. He also won junior national titles (2005) in 1500m and 3000m: http://www.spec.com.au/?sp=r2004&id=3632

There are no quick players at St Kilda. We should be called St Snail.
You have the Clarke brothers, but they use their pace to run away from the ball and physical contact. :D

Betts is very quick over the first five metres and off the first step with his change of direction, but the Davey brothers would be alot faster over 20 to 50 metres than Eddie.
